Overall property was good, great location and the staff very accommodating. Only thing that was disappointing was I requested an atrium view and was put in a room with no view. It appeared to be cement walls and the roof. The room felt cave-like, but it was great for sleeping. Linens were clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Close to the action

We like this hotel and have stayed here several times. It is an older hotel with a small bathroom, nice size shower and comfortable beds. The complaint from everyone who stays here, is no coffee maker in the rooms. So we walk to the local donut shop or Faneuli Hall for coffee.

It was small boutique hotel and in the downtown area close to the Aquarium, Fanuiel Hall & the North End. The lobby was loud and we had someone close outside our room in the hall, we could hear every word. But no noise noted from room to room. It was quaint and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly-only ding really was location-in the midst of the bldgs downtown

Our stay in Boston was awesome. The hotel was very accommodating. They allowed us an early check in since our plane arrived mid-day which was very helpful in getting settled. They offered free water at the front desk. I was disappointed that they did not offer complimentary coffee. I don't think I have ever stayed at a hotel that didn't have a coffee maker in the room or at least in a central location. We ended up having to walk to dunkin every morning because the on-site restaurant did not open until 7 and we are early risers. Also they did not have a microwave in the room which would have been helpful. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stay here whenever we visit Boston because of the location to shopping and restaurants. Only complaint is there is no coffee machine in the room which is very inconvenient.
