The room was wonderful! Quiet and secure. We especially appreciated that the staff only offered room clean-up when we requested it. That made us feel that they were not going to intrude on us every day. We really loved that. My husband was sick in bed for one whole day, so he did not want people coming in while he was there. The hotel was convenient to many attractions in Boston, so we were able to walk to many places we wanted to see. The staff was great! Any time we had requests, they promptly attended to our needs.

The staff were nice. It seemed clean and very close to a lot of sights (quincy market, the harbour front, etc). The room was nice, but small for the price (although we didnt mind how small it was). Parking was a bit confusing but I suggest looking nearby because youll likely find cheaper options.

The Harborside Inn itself is very nice the location truly can’t be beat, and the overall vibe of the hotel is charming and quaint. Our room was large, clean, and nicely maintained when we arrived. However, I didn’t realize that “no windows” on the listing meant the room would actually be in the basement with no natural light, which made it feel a bit closed in. The biggest downside for us was the noise, we could hear every sound from the rooms above and beside us, from footsteps to running water, which made it difficult to sleep at night. We also didn’t receive any housekeeping during our five-day stay. I expected at least light cleaning or a towel refresh every couple of days, but we had to repeatedly request fresh towels ourselves. Overall, while the hotel itself is lovely and in an unbeatable location, the experience in our particular room (noise, lack of cleaning, and basement setting) made the price of our stay hard to justify.

The building is very old and the was not well lit..they do not offer coffee in room or lobby which i didnot like restaurant was overpriced and food was fair.it was walkable for downtown boston though
