Perfectly pleasant for what it is. The front desk staff was very nice. The hotel is very midrange in most ways but good access if you have meetings at MIT

Comfortable, dark enough to sleep well, clean, good healthy breakfast buffet (you can staff to bring unsweetened yoghurt from the back). Sinks are poorly designed, with distance between basin and faucet too low, and back of basin too close to the faucet, so that water splashes behind.

The staff were helpful and great at explaining everything. The room was overall good except two glaring things: the side board of desk, where there were spare tv plug ins, was covered with some mysterious substance and there were issues when I tried to connect my Roku stick. The location was great. It’s central to a lot of areas in Cambridge including MIT as well as several different food places. I went to Brookline Lunch for breakfast and I 1000% recommend the Baklava Pancakes. I really loved how the price was on the lower end for Boston (when I booked anyway) which is great when you’re visiting a relatively expensive city. I recommend as long as the two issues I have are something that is improved.
The bed was very soft but still firm enough that I didn’t wake up with hip and back problems. Keep that in mind if you prefer a firmer mattress.
This is the brand and the refillable bottles that they use. The peppermint shampoo is amazing!

The gentleman at the front desk was an extremely wonderful person to greet me when I walked in. My wife’s been in mass general for eight months so I had to stay here and I stayed Friday night and the gentleman was just a very nice comforting gentleman, as well as the gentleman at the bar who gave me my food. They were extremely extremely nice welcoming, comforting people, and I’ve never left a review like that before in fact, I usually never leave reviews, but they deserve some good feedback. The woman that was at the desk. Saturday morning was also very very sweet.

I liked the room a lot, especially that it had two chairs & one ottoman plus a desk chair that were comfy to sit in. Comfortable King bed. Lived the water filling stations. But tile grout in the bathroom floor looked dirty, which is not ok when spending over $500 a night. Else, very good experience.

Adequate hotel for a premium price in cambridge

The hotel ambushed us with a surprise you get to pay an additional 25 dollars a night fee because Cambridge is a popular Marriott destination, and then in the room there were 8 dollar bottles of fiji water with hotel proclaiming their goal of caring about the environment. The cost to transport water all the way around the globe while draining an island state's aquifer is the opposite of caring about the environment.
