Quiet little cabin
Publié le 27 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I had a great time exploring the finger lakes region. Staying in this cabin was a great locatiin to the two of the larger lakes. I wanted to stay away from people and this cabin fit that perfrctly. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at the lakes. Everything was clean and a fully stocked kitchen. Would absolutely recommend this place to stay to anyone wanting peace and quiet. Thank you so much for offering this hidden gem.

It was nice meeting and speaking with you in our chance encounter. Because we have a seem less check in and out procedure that is contactless between us and our guests, we rarely get to meet anyone personally. Anniversary Getaway

Thank you for the great review and congratulations on the anniversary. The Fox in the Henhouse is our unwritten "Couples" cabin but in actuality all four of our cabins suit couples for a romantic weekend or a weekend with the kids, very well.
We look forward to seeing you again.
We are putting the finishing touches on our 4th cabin which will be completed in June, so perspective guests keep checking us on Vrbo for initial deals to kick off our latest beautiful finger lakes cabin. This one is finished off with spruce from the property and has custom island and table made of Walnut by local Mennonite artisans. Was well as a custom cedar railing on the loft.
Now we just need to come up with a name!

R&R get away weekend success

We shortly will be adding our 4th cabin to our rentals and we have saved the best for last. We'll be running some specials on booking it and we hope to have it available on June 1st, just in time for the summer vacation season. Now we just have to do some finishing touches and give it an appropriate name!

Private Peaceful and Comfortable
Publié le 18 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayCabin was lovely; very clean and comfortable, just as we expected. First night we were there we had a wonderful dusting of snow. It was beautiful and lasted a couple of days.
Location was peaceful and private and felt at home.
Hosts left detailed information for check in as well as getting to know the cabin.
Could not have been more pleased with our stay.
Highly recommend.

Weekend Getaway

Thank you for your review. Our cabins really are in the heart of the Finger Lakes with access to Keuka, Canandaigua and Seneca lakes within any easy drive of our cabins.
Between the wineries, distilleries, skiing, hiking, shopping and several state and local parks, there really is a lot to see and experience in the area.

Home away from home

The cabin is well maintained and included all amenities for a wonderful weekend away for my wife and I while in the finger lakes. The owners are very easy to communicate with and pleasant. This is our second time staying here and will definitely be back again!

Such a cute place!
Publié le 14 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay very much. Small but quant. Decorated nice and everything was clean! I loved the several battery-operated candles located around the cabin but many had dead batteries in them. The bedroom bed was comfortable and though the stairs were a bit tight to get up and down, they were perfect for the size of the cabin. We got there when the temps were cooler outside and though it was only 55 in there, it heated up quickly. Enjoyed playing games, watching a movie and listening to music as we made ourselves dinner and drinks. The water was smelly but we read reviews so we were prepared (having once had well water in our home, we knew what to expect!). We brought bottled water to brush our teeth and make coffee in the morning. My husband switched out some light bulbs and organized a few drawers. LOL We had a very pleasant stay. Just what we needed - a quiet getaway just the two of us. We ventured out to a winery and distillery nearby and had a fantastic time despite the rain. Would definitely reocmmend to others and I'm sure we will return!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a detailed; and most appreciated review of your stay. We’re glad you enjoyed the candles throughout he cabin however apologize for the dead batteries. We do replace these periodically but not always after each stay. We expect that guests turn them off when ever stepping out for awhile but many forget and leave them on indefinitely. So they die quickly unfortunately. Because batteries are getting more expensive, we aren’t replacing them as often as before. Thank you for your understanding of the well water situation. The smell does go away after a few minutes of running the water. Thank you also for switching out the light bulbs. Glad you took advantage of the local wineries and distillery’s in our area. These are very popular stops by our guests. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay; and looking forward to having you stay again in the future. Dawn and Gary 7 Bridges Rentals
