The designer chef’s kitchen with eat-in bar for four is open to the grand dining room featuring endless scenic views and an expansive natural wood table with seating for twelve. Cozy living spaces on three levels, a stunning setting in the Rockies, and proximity to ski area access and shuttle service provide an idyllic backdrop for unforgettable family memories.

Amenities offered by Breck Lodge include a private outdoor hot tub; flat screen Smart TVs; fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker; wood burning fireplace; recreation room with table tennis, pool table, and wet bar; and full-size washer and dryer. Great location. Perfect amount of space. Loved the hot tub! The home could use some updating. The downstairs was cold most of the time. Not enough room around the pool table to play. The welcome basket was nice. Overall loved it and would stay again.

Great Stay

Cabin was clean. If it is hot be prepared- no air conditioning in the home. Views were spectacular. 1/2 mile from nearly everything. Can walk a path through the trees to Peak 8. I would stay here again

Perfectly Imperfect Home, we Loved it.

Management was great, check in was super easy, and that is coming from a very "technical challenged" person! We had 9 adults (two sets of parents, and their post college grad "baby adults").The mountain view took our breath away from the start.The house is roomy for all to spread out and yet still is cozy (right down to the cobwebs hanging from the wood beams- and the very poor lighting). We built a fire every night,The young adults loved the jacuzzi and the views! We were so worn out at night that we never utilized the pool table downstairs, but we so enjoyed sitting at the big dinner table every night and sharing our misadventures and wipeouts over wine and good food! We did bring our own Bose speaker for music (after I inquired about lack of bluetooth options ). The baby adults very much enjoyed the hot tub (and the views !) Kitchen is super small, and only allows one cook in the kitchen at a time. Low shelves and angles are dangerous to big heads. Bathrooms have those 1970s low sinks we grew up with and need updating but was sufficient . IT was a short hike to launching area, but was truly ski back in.Loved easy ski storage in garage! Perfectly Imperfect, we would go back in a heartbeat!

Great Location For Ski Access

We had a great stay at Breck Lodge. The house had a lot of mountain charm and the proximity to the slopes was excellent - a very short walk right out the back of the house. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Great Ski In / Ski Out Location at Peak 8!

This is a great ski-in / ski-out property! The house was well kept and ready for us when we arrived, and check in was a breeze. Downstairs living room was the perfect hang out for the kids to watch movies while the adults relaxed upstairs. We kept the fireplace on the main floor going in the morning and evenings with the well stocked supply of wood. We never used the hot tub but it looked to be in good shape and someone came by mid week to do the standard maintenance. The only downside for our three families was that only two of the bedrooms had in-suite bathrooms. So one family had to stay in a bunk room and use the hall bath. Not a huge deal for us but something to be aware of. We rented cars so we used them to go into town in lieu of the shuttle, but for skiing the location was fabulous! There is a short trail through the backyard that takes you to a great practice area for beginners. From there you can pop on your skis and head down to any of the peak 8 base lifts. On the way in we were able to ski the trail right to the driveway! This made it very easy to come in mid day with the kids for a short break, and they loved sledding the trail in the afternoon. Overall nice house with a great location!

Family and friends ski trip

We had 3 families each with 2 kids staying at this property and it was perfect. The kids had the downstairs living space to hang out at night while the adults took the upstairs by the fire. Everyone was able to come and go as they pleased from the slopes as it was an easy walk to the slopes and a straight shot to ski or board back in. We will definitely be back.

Great house!

Great house, nice deck. Plenty of parking in the driveway. All the amenities. The fire place was very cozy and had some wood. Beds were comfortable. Host responsive. Will def stay here again!

Everything you need in this family home away from home. Would have liked some board games, and some chairs on the deck to enjoy the outdoors. Everything else was just as stated . We felt very comfortable and had a lovely time.

Great place

Great home but property management company is used to low supply and high demand market. Property management company cancelled our first reservation by email when we did not respond within 48 hours over Thanksgiving weekend, asking again for the ages of people who would be in the house, even after they had been submitted in the original app. We resubmitted again and we’re fortunate same place was available. Then when it snowed 2 feet while we are leaving they were unwilling to give us another two hours to shovel the driveway to get out. Good luck with that I-70 was shut down with a 15 mile backup.
