This stunning and recently-remodeled home is ready to welcome you for a mountain getaway. Just 5 miles from Breckenridge, this 3BR single-family house offers gorgeous 360 views and accommodates 8 guests comfortably. Groves of trees provide privacy and shade, while a babbling brook runs under the wooden bridge behind the spacious deck. Relax in the oversized hot tub or play a round of billiards in the downstairs game room where a pool table, bar with fridge & sink, and a TV with movies awaits. This home is pet-friendly for a fee. If you are bringing a pet, please let us know. There is a $350 fee per pet, per stay.

The bus stop is a 2-minute walk from the front door and takes you directly back to town. The thoughtfully appointed tri-level mountain home invites families or large groups to stay awhile with a walk-in pantry, ample cupboard space, full bathrooms with showers, tubs and double sinks; a laundry room, stocked linen closet and eclectic book selection. Retreat to the sunken living room for leather sofas, a plush rocker, remote control gas fireplace, sound system and flat screen TV or entertain in the open-design kitchen flanked by a granite bar and cushy leather barstools. A lovely second deck off the living room's north side provides comfy seating, a gas grill and pebble fireplace perfect for lounging and stargazing. The quiet third floor welcomes slumber with two private bedrooms—one outfitted with a plush king bed, flat screen, private balconette and full closet and another with a cozy queen bed. Both are dressed in rustic mountain chic décor.

High-speed Wi-Fi and parking are included.

LIVING ROOM
This home has two living rooms for your group to make themselves right at home. The lower-level living room is the perfect area for games and movies, as this room is fitted with two queen size pullout couches, a flatscreen TV with cable, a pool table, and bar area with sink and mini-fridge! The main level living room has an incredibly comfortable couch seating around an electric fireplace display and flatscreen TV with cable.

We provide enough supplies for a typical weekend stay. We also provide fresh pressed linens, including all bed sheets and towels.

This home has a private hot tub, so extra towels for the hot tub are included. We take care of cleaning and servicing the tub before and after your stay.

The home was very convenient to Breckenridge, within about a 10-minute drive to the day lots. The home had plenty of room for a family with teenagers to spread out and be comfortable. Pool table and Hot tub were nice amenities and visits from the neighbor's dog Booka were very pleasant.

Peaceful Winter Wonderland

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Brookside House! Our family of five enjoyed a perfect long weekend ski getaway in this spacious, charming home. It was impeccably clean and exuded that classic ski/mountain lodge vibe that makes a trip in Colorado feel so special. The layout was ideal, giving everyone plenty of space to relax, and the pool table was a huge hit with the kids.One of the best highlights was the hot tub on the deck, surrounded by towering trees—pure bliss after long days on the slopes. The location couldn’t be better—just a short 7-8 minute drive to Breckenridge, yet tucked away in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood that made our stay feel truly serene.The team at Alpine Edge even checked in with a thoughtful call, ensuring we had everything we needed. While we didn’t require any assistance, it was great knowing they were readily available.With the fresh snow blanketing everything, the Brookside House felt like a true winter wonderland. We will absolutely be looking to stay here again—highly recommended!

Nice location but terrible odor

This place has potential but needs A LOT of work. I get the feeling these reviews are friends/family because theres no way its above a 2-3 star VRBO. The whole place smells awful. Not sure if its the pet policy and carpets are just filthy but we could not stand the smell and left a day early. The showers are disgusting and overall the place needs some TLC to bring it up to this price range. Disappointing for the price. There was dog poop in the driveway and dog pee in the entrance way to the house. The beds are very cheap mattresses with foam pads. Very uncomfortable. Honestly, worst VRBO ive stayed in which is why i think these reviews are fake.

It was a great stay. Everything was comfortable and well equipped and stocked. Plenty of towels for the hot tub. Plenty of space for a family to spread out. Without traffic it’s about 10 minutes to peak 9.

Quiet getaway outside of town

We had a great stay here just 7 min from Breckenridge. The house was in a nice, quiet neighborhood just off highway 9. The house was clean and the check in was so easy. We enjoyed the hot tub and grill on one of the two decks which was so relaxing after days hiking nearby. The listing was slightly confusing but it didn’t impact our stay. There are two bedrooms on the top floor, one on the main floor just off the kitchen and no bedrooms in the basement, but the basement was a great hang out spot. Overall we really enjoyed the stay and would stay again!

Nice but …

Overall our experience was good. From the pictures and reviews we thought we’d be more secluded. Neighbors are quite but the highway is close and you hear traffic all day and night. The home is comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped with dishes, and cookware, but bring your own spices (salt and pepper) / condiments if you plan on cooking. Only half the jets in the hot tub work. Out of a dozen pool cues (most are broken in half) only one is in working condition. Easy drive into Breckenridge.

My family lived this home. Family of 5 and had plenty of room. My only complaint was when we checked in the hot tub was set at 58 degrees. Took a while day to warm up to be used. Thanks for the memories!

Great location

Really great location, private enough and populated enough for our taste. I know this is out of their control but just be aware they are building some cabins in the area, so if you're looking for peace and quiet you may not find it if they're building close by. The brook was wonderful and really made up for the other noise. We weren't sure how to control the thermostat and had trouble locking the door. I called but it was outside the hours of operation. We ended up figuring it out but maybe some details in writing would be good. Really amazing time with family, everything worked, it was clean and plenty of space. Would highly recommend.

Great place for our family Thanksgiving

We had a great stay in this house for our holiday weekend. It is well appointed and the kitchen has everything you would need. The bedrooms are very nice. The kitchen and family room is a good size for everyone to hang out. The hot tub was perfect. My only complaint is that my pool game was embarrassing!!

GREAT cabin, location, amenities, seclusion

The photos, description, and amenities list are accurate but don't quite do it justice. We had 5 adults here for 5 days/4 nights and could have easily fit another 5 people without feeling cramped. Large fully stocked kitchen (3 different coffee machines and a fondue set!), beds were comfortable and I counted at least 10 blankets, clean bathrooms with tons of towels. Each night we spent hours in the hot tub or stargazing by the fire pit listening to the babbling brook. Nestled into trees with gorgeous mountain and forest views from EVERY window and patio, we were a few minutes from Breck and <30 min from Frisco/Dillon/Silverthorne for all the shopping and restaurants. Fantastic hiking and kayaking from 5-30 minutes any direction you pick. 1.5-2hr to Denver airport. We loved our stay and will come back!!!

Beautiful Stay at Brookside Retreat!

My family and I stayed in this lovely home for four nights and three days. This was a relaxing, beautiful piece of property. The kids loved the hot tub and pool table! The property exceeded all expectations and we will definitely be booking this location again.

Lovely house just outside of Breckenridge

We were planning a last minute trip up to Summit County mid-January and were lucky enough that this gem was still available. Living room was cozy, beds were comfy and we had plenty of space. Loved the outdoor hot tub and the tranquil setting. Bookmarking as one of our favorites in the area!
