Peak 8 Village Retreat Condo is a great year-round choice! In the winter, you can walk Gold Run Nordic Center for some cross-country skiing or take the ski shuttle to the base of Peak 8 at Breckenridge Ski Resort. In the summer, hop on your bike or lace up your hiking boots and hit the miles of great trails right outside your door, including the popular Peaks Trail. You and your group will love it!

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom top-floor condo that can easily accommodate groups of up to eight. The living area has plenty of light, and vaulted ceilings make for an open, airy feeling. There’s a wood-burning fireplace, a large flat-screen TV, and plenty of seating. The full kitchen has all the gear you’ll need to keep the troops fed and happy, and there’s a deck for taking in the mountain air!

Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, central laundry facilities and a private ski locker. As with all SMR properties, this property is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival, and the condo is fully stocked with clean linens, plenty of fresh towels, and basic toiletries. Our professional staff is also available 24/7 to ensure your vacation is as hassle-free as possible.

Good location, well kept apartment in road leading to peak 8 walking distance to Peak 8 summer activity Clean and spacious for family of 4 to 6 check-in was flawless and exceptionally good communication Only negative point is that the apartment is for 6 people only The bunk bed not useful as it is very close to ceiling and in summer not comfortable as the unit in on top floor with heat radiating from ceiling wanted to give 4.5 stars but Vrbo allows only full stars

Wish I knew

I wish I knew the water turns off frequently. According to neighbors it turns off without warning and without knowing when it will be turned back on. We were without water for hours. After the fourth trip to town to use other facilities, we had no choice but to make other accommodations for the remainder of our trip (three days - two nights remained). I have yet to receive a refund or any communication from the owner or property management. Otherwise, property is clean and comfortable, and location is fine. Roads in this area including parking lot are not plowed unless they receive 3" of snow or more making parking tricky.

Spring Break Ski Trip

Excellent condo. Nice kitchen appliances and cookware. Comfortable living room and bedrooms.Clean. Quick walking distance to Free Ride stop (busses can be crowded and you may have to wait for a second bus). Condo sleeps 8 but all 8 people need to know each other well. Bunks sleep 4 (2 on each bunk), second bedroom has a queen. Pullout sofa sleeps 2 small children. Definitely would stay here again.

This is just what we needed for our skip trip: conveniently located 100 yards from the bus stop, just one stop away from peak 7&8 base. Some mountain views. Well furnished appartment, with nice appliances, very practical with 2 kids.

Breck stay

Great location - very close to Peak 8&7 via the free shuttle that stops just up the road. The shuttle can also take you to/from town with ease. Accommodation itself was perfect - including having ski locker downstairs and parking passes.

Relaxing enjoyable stay

It was super easy to access, very close to the shuttle stop, easy to get into town and plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed cooking meals and relaxing in the living room at the end of each day.

Great cottage close to hiking routes and ski resort

Enjoyed a lot staying in this 2-bedroom apartment with the cozy fireplace. We hiked every day in the woods, the peak trail is just a mile away.

No where to park yet promised 2 spots. Had to lug all the stuff up 3 flights of stairs which was not told. And could not get in. Then the property management people started a text chain and said very rude things about me. Never would go back and not a good management company. And they make it look like it has a loft and it’s just windows. And it smelled strange.

Great place for a small family

This condo was the perfect size for our family, close to peak 8 and to downtown. I wish the appliances like stove, blender and mixer were updated, I was only able to use two burners of the stove, the blender started smoking as soon as we tried to use it and the mixer was missing the beaters. Other than that our stay was perfect,

Great location - nothing fancy.

This place is in a great location to hop on a free shuttle bus to the slopes. The water pressure is great for your shower! The space was totally functional for a few days of skiing with friends. Nothing fancy - not attractively decorated. This is on the 3rd floor - lots of stairs! It is a quiet area - only an occasional dog bark was heard. The unit is basic and dated - I had allergic reactions to unit. Maybe dusty or dirty old carpet. But it provided us with everything we needed.

Nice place, with plenty of room for 4 people. Very clean and comfortable. Only negative was that the unit was located on the third floor of the building which made climbing up the stairs exhausting after a day of skiing.

Roof Construction and Dirty during stay

The location is great and you can take a shuttle up to peak 7 and peak 8. The shuttles run every 15 minutes in the morning and early afternoon. After that it runs every 30 minutes and you can take the shuttle to Breckenridge town. The condo wasn't cleaned properly. Everyone woke up with sore throats and stuffy noses so I vacuumed the condo and you can hear the residue coming into the vacuum over and over again. There was also carpet in one of the bathrooms. From Monday-Thursday from 8am - 5pm they were repairing the roof of condo and this unit is on the top floor. Sounded like someone was going to fall through the roof while you on vacation you don't want to hear a banging noise over and over again. There was no notice that this was going to happen nor did the property manager know about it, it is their responsibility to know when these repairs are happening. Parts of the roof was just thrown down in all directions, there was no designated area. Some parts almost hit my sister and she got an apology. We have pictures of the mess the outside looked like after having roof pieces thrown down and it honestly wasn't safe. Obviously, people can be smart enough to walk around although this stay was far from our expectations. I would not recommend this place.
