River Mountain Lodge Horseshoe Gulch Condo offers the convenience and comforts of a condominium (with hotel amenities) in the heart of historic downtown Breckenridge. Just ski down, walk across the street and you’re home! One block from Main Street, a short shuttle ride to the gondola or the Peak 9 base. You owe it to yourself (and your group) to book this place!

River Mountain Lodge Horseshoe Gulch Condo is a spacious, two-level deluxe condo with a great view of the slopes from the patio; it’s perfect for small families or groups up to four! There’s a full kitchen with granite counters, two bathrooms, and a large flat-screen TV. The dining table seats four, and there’s room for three at the counter for a quick breakfast or aprùs-ski snack. You’ll also enjoy the in-unit washer/dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, underground parking (one car) with elevator access, a fitness center, an outdoor heated pool, and hot tubs. Every Summit Mountain Rentals property comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Our helpful staff is also available 24 hours a day to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.

The unit was clean, laid out for four of us to stay comfortably, and conveniently located for skiing/snow boarding - a short walk to the free gondola as well as restaurants. The hot tubs were an added bonus. Thank you for a great stay!

Good location, clean place.

This review is specifically for skiers - it is the info I look for when booking a ski in/ski out resort.This condo is at the bottom of 4 O'clock run - just across the street. The gondola is about 2 blocks away. Very walkable for snowboarders - a bit of a slog for skiers carrying skis and wearing ski boots. As skiers, we took the frequent busses in front of the lodge to either the gondola or Peak 7 or 8.The lodging is not fancy, but is clean and adequate accommodations with easy access to the slopes and the town of Breckenridge. Nice indoor parking.

Keep carbon dioxide alarms maintained

At about 3:30 AM, the carbon monoxide/fire detector was alarming with a loud beep every 30 seconds or so. My two year old granddaughter was woken up and frantic, along with my sister and I. I found a chair to dislodge the detectors trying to shut the sound off before the fire department arrived! Please keep these devices maintained so that the alarms don’t go off in the middle of the night! I was finally able to locate the wall detector that was beeping and unplugged it. Even then, I was kept up wondering if we had a gas leak! Needless to say, my granddaughter was awake the rest of the early morning until we checked out. Our trip was wonderful until that last evening/morning. I feel that because of the negligence of keeping the alarm system maintained, our trip ended on a very low note.

Quick breck trip

Excellent location, plenty of room, close to Main Street. Father and son trip so we don’t need much. However, there was a lot of street noise which made it tough to sleep. It was warm in breck and windows needed to be open with no ac.

Great Location

This is a great spot! My wife and our 2 children had a wonderful stay. Pool was clean and warm and the hot tub relaxing. It is literally a 50 yard walk to the main part of town. We'll be back.

Great condo; perfect location!

Perfect location for a couple of small family or a couple of friends to escape to Breck. Great layout and absolutely perfect location for a winter or summer stay. Right off Main St so super convenient access to restaurants, shops, etc. Absolutely perfect for skiing as there is a shuttle stop at the lodge, and 4:00 ends literally across the street. Would definitely stay here again

Great location and space for a family!

We stayed in Breckenridge for a weekend soccer game and this location is unmatched to walk around town! We loved having a big open space with 2 bathrooms for a family of 4. Check in was a breeze and communication was great! We would absolutely stay again!

Perfect location

The condo is in a perfect location for shopping, restaurants, and the Gondola. It is nicely equipped. Tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our stay. The only drawback would be the summer months when needing to open windows. The street is very busy and loud 24/7. Also we prefer a contactless check in however the team was very nice and quick. They are attentive to all your needs. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect location!

The location of this building is perfect! You can step out of the building, cross a bridge and be in the middle of downtown. We love being able to walk to restaurants or to get coffee. Very close to the gondola. Close drive to many hikes. This was our second stay in this lodge but a different unit. It is a bit run down (older carpet, showers a bit dingy due to lots of use) but the beds are comfortable and there was everything we needed. I would trade new and shiny for this location any day!
