La Maison de Montagne (The Mountain House) is your desirable mountain home away from home, with the coziest of layouts, over 4,500 square feet of entertaining space, and beautiful scenery. Take a retreat to the mountains in this spectacular home and you may never want to leave.

A 3-sided fireplace warms the air between the great room and kitchen, creating both separation and a cozy ambiance. Plenty of windows let in lots of natural light and beautiful wooded and mountain views. Cooks will enjoy a well-appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a large farmers' sink, and a roomy island/bar with seating for 6, along with a sunny breakfast nook. An elegant dining area nearby will be a great gathering place for guests and home-cooked meals.

Off the kitchen is a spacious deck with seating a grilling area and plenty of nature and views. A gorgeous primary king suite is on the main level with its stone gas fireplace, upper deck access, and ensuite bath with a soaking tub and luxury touches. A queen suite is on the upper level and shares the same fantastic views.

Retreat to the lower-level family room to relax on a wrap-around sectional couch and watch movies on a large projection TV. A pool and ping pong table and wet bar make this room the place to be on game night with the family. Two bedrooms are on this level, a king suite with a fireplace and a TV, and a fantastic 4 queen bedroom with a fireplace, a TV, and a private ensuite with a jetted tub.

From here, exit to the hot tub for some star gazing and family fun. Other amenities include a washer and dryer and a 2-bay garage with parking for 4 cars total. Located on Peak 7 with easy access to town for convenience, but far enough away with all the privacy you were looking for on your mountain vacation.

This home is pet-friendly with an additional $950 cleaning fee and written approval. Please contact us for details.

Regretfully, weddings and events are not permitted in Moving Mountains homes.

PARKING
There is space available for two vehicles in the garage and two in the driveway.

SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.

GUEST SERVICES
Moving Mountains has a Guest Services Team, offering full-service vacation planning assistance prior to your trip. You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence, and guest services.

IN HOME AMENITIES
All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.

This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.

Beautiful Home

Amazing views. Great space. We will certainly rent this stunning home again. Took a few of us a day to get use to the altitude, but other than that it was near perfect for our family.

The property is beautiful and the home is incredibly clean, Well furnished and well stocked. the property management team, Sarah, Melissa and Teresa are extremely kind And wonderful. they really made our stay above and beyond. They paid special attention to the little details and helped us to celebrate our parents 55th anniversary. There was no request too big or too small that they wouldn't assist with. The wildlife in the area is amazing and the natural forest is right Behind the house property line. You really feel privacy and serenity.

There is plenty of space to spread out either in the upstairs living room or in the finished downstairs area which has a big tv, pool table, and bar area. It's on a quiet street which was nice for walks. We could see the New Year's Eve fireworks from the porch! We used the shuttle service to take us to the slopes everyday.

Close proximity to Peak 7 so it was an easy drop-off for the skiers each morning and a quick meet up for apres-ski in the afternoon at Sevens Restaurant. House is very nice with all the amenities. We do our own cooking and the kitchen was outfitted nicely. They even had a sous vide! Didn't even need to pack mine! Great experience. We'll be back.

Ski Weekend Getaway

This house is just as beautiful in person as it is in pictures. We loved that most of the bedrooms had a fireplace and attached bathroom with large jet tubs. Also, really liked the shuttle but it was busy over the weekend so call early. Be prepared to completely stock the kitchen, there was no salt or cooking oil, just garlic powder and pepper. Also, the outlets in the master bathroom and downstairs bathroom didn’t work so we had to blow dry our hair elsewhere.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would highly recommend this beautiful mountain home in the woods for your next family/couples getaway (complete with your fur babies). We especially enjoyed dining and stargazing on the large deck overlooking the forest and hiking trail, sitting in the hot tub while it rained, cooking in the well stocked kitchen, and breathing in the fresh mountain air. In addition, the Paragon Lodging staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful with restaurant and local recommendations for pet supplies and driving services (make sure you eat at both Aurum and Rootstock). We can't wait to book our next trip out to Breck/La Maison.

Beautiful site and location

The house is perfect-- fully stocked, very clean and spacious, beautiful views, and wonderful outdoor grill and hot tub. The management was very responsive to our request for cotton sheets and more towels. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

The beautiful drive to drop off the skiers was only about 15 minutes and town just right there too. Would definitely choose this home again if it worked out!

The perfect family getaway

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home and property during our stay in Summit County. With four young kids plus a father-in-law with us it was the ideal layout for our active family’s needs. The home was spotless and felt brand new. The yard was perfect for our kids to play and explore, and the furnishings througjiut gave it a great “mountain home” feel without being too over the top. Only negatives were COVID-related items that I imagine were policies of the management company. Bedding had been reduced to simple sheets and hospital-grade blankets, and all spices/cooking sauces had been removed. I’m sure some guests would see it as a positive but for us a few salt and pepper shakers and a proper comforter on the bed would have been nice. Overall, despite those nits we would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Breckenridge!

Over the Top

Reviewer Comments: This home is very roomy and beautiful. The kitchen had just about everything you can ask for. The view is breathtaking. We did not listen when we were told that you should have a 4 wheel drive and believe me you should. The only negative that I can say about the house is the lack of doors leading into the bathrooms. This really makes the bedrooms non functional when someone needs to use the bathrooms. There is a bedroom upstairs with no bathroom so this causes a problem when a shower is needed. Owners should consider putting some doors on the bathrooms. Also, unfortunately, we were there during the historical snow storm. LOL The electricity went out. I would suggest that the house be stocked with flashlights. We had nothing. Also, maybe the owners should consider having a backup on the fireplaces where they can be utilized during an electricity outage. With that being said, the house is very accommodating in all other areas. The Paragon Lodging staff is OVER THE TOP. They get an A+++. I will rent from them every time.
