Elderly mom accommodation

Requested a downstairs room days before visit. Showed to find request not found. Attendant made a free upgrade to accommodate me and elderly mom. Thank you Days inn

Non smoking? Ha! The room smells like smoke

I’ve stayed at a worse hotel. This one is right down there with that one. The room smells of stale smoke, which is always disgusting but I had to sign a note stating that I wouldn’t smoke in the room that smells like old smoke. I got woken up by what I hope isn’t bed bugs. Don’t stay here.

But we didn't get there till 12:30 in the morning and what was really nice is the the night lady that was on the desk went back and turned the heat on in the room for us so when we got there it was really nice and warm and comfortable which I thought was very very nice
