Perfect location
Publié le 28 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayStrugglers cottage is a beautiful, clean little cottage in the middle of Broadstairs but in a quiet courtyard. It had everything you could wish for and more.
There is 3 flights of steep stairs between rooms but that is it’s charm.

Sadly the kitchen had a bad smell of sewage so was unable to use it, advised owner so hopefully be fixed for the next person.

Thank you Alicia. We apologise about the smell this was probobably coming from an outisde drain. Unfortunately you only advused us after your stay. if you had contacted us whilst you were staying we would have rectfied it immediately. On the check in details we provide prior to check in we always ask guests to contact us if there any problems or quesions during their stay. We live locally to the cottage and always rectify any issues that occur immediately.

Smugglers cottage
Publié le 25 févr. 2022 sur HomeAwayIf you’re looking for a quaint place to stay set in a Dickensian courtyard, you will not be disappointed. The property is well equipped and close to amenities and good walks. I recommend the cottage and advise you take notice of the advice about the steep stairs, not suitable for everyone but it definitely adds to the character. Thanks for the stay 🤣

Publié le 4 févr. 2022 sur HomeAwayBeverley and Phil are the most helpful host ever. Superb location and great stay. Though it was made clear about the winding staircase, it was still quite a surprise. Maybe a hand grip at top?
