Although there are some nice amenities at this hotel, like the bar and the pool. In general, it was in need of some rehab. Leaky shower that didn't drain well, lots of coats of paint, tired carpeting.

I’m extremely disappointed in this property. I am from Buffalo and have always viewed the M as an extremely formal, well kept facility, that has been the venue for several weddings that I have been a part of. My husband and I are currently in town for a funeral and I am so disgusted with the state of the property. It looks like it is falling apart. The hotel has a policy that they place a $250 hold on each room at check-in, I’ve heard of keeping a card on file in case of damages, but never this. The bathrooms are dirty and the room smells of artificial cleaner - absolutely disgusting. The bar maid also greeted us with a, “what do you want?” in the most terse and nasty tone. And then proceeded to say, “I guess you can have a menu if you need it.” At check-in, I was also told by the front desk employee that things, “looked fishy,” because my hair was different in my ID picture and I was wearing glasses… very professional. As I mentioned, I have stayed here previously and have enjoyed it - but apparently 12 years of time away has really resulted in this hotel, that was once immaculate, turning into a complete mess. Do NOT stay here.

I have pictures of the cracks in the tub and bathroom sinks damaged and dirty mirrors stink wet smell in two diffrent rooms they showed me when i told staff they stated their aware and tha the rooms were being renovated it was so bad i cancel my train ticket lost money paod more money for a bus ticket and went home early

The area around is getting questionable. The mall is right there and the element of people is getting sketchy, more in the evening. The hotel has upped their security with all doors needing key cards to access entry doors at all times.

I've stayed here many times. Love that it's nextdoor to Walden Galleria - you can just walk over. I also love that it's close to a lot of my favorite stores and there are good dining options close and also within the surrounding area. The only issue I had is that the bathrooms ie. Tub and tiles could.use some refinishing and updating as the tub peeling, the tile grout was a litte aged/grimey and the tub wasn't draining properly due to the stopper not being able to stay up. The staff and the service they provided was very good.
