English Lakehouse: Spectacular views on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail

Welcome to the English Lake House! This highly sought after vacation home is located on the east side of Seneca Lake, where you can enjoy the gorgeous sunsets of the Finger Lakes from the comfort of three levels of decks, or right by the lake on more than 100 feet of gradual entry lakefront.

With ample parking for five cars, and dedicated common facilities on two separate levels, English Lake House is the perfect retreat for two families vacationing together.

Entering the home, you are greeted with an open floor plan for the main common areas. The kitchen is both spacious and has enough counter space to cook meals for the whole family. An island offers seating for three in the kitchen, while a dining table that can seat eight offers views of the lake through the sliding glass doors. Opposite the kitchen and dining area, you'll find the living area. A comfy couch, recliner, and overstuffed armchair offer seating in the living area, while you watch TV on the large flat screen TV [which comes with HBO, Showtime and a DVR], enjoy the cozy fireplace, or just enjoy the view through the large, lake-facing, picture window. On this main floor, those with limited mobility will enjoy the convenience of having a spacious bedroom with a queen bed, flat-screen TV, a full bathroom, as well as access to a covered deck that spans the entire width of the house. Full-size laundry facilities are also located on this floor.

The upper floor hosts the master bedroom with king size bed, flat-screen TV, vaulted ceiling, and sliding glass doors that let you enjoy the view from inside the bedroom, or on the private covered deck that spans the width of the home. An additional bedroom on this level faces the rear of the property, and has one queen bed and one full. A full bathroom with tub is also located on this floor.

The lower level of the home features one more bedroom with queen bed and a 3rd full bathroom. Additionally, you will find a second fridge, and common area living space with flat-screen TV. This room also encompasses a day bed, with a trundle bed, and there is a second set of stackable laundry facilities. A walk-out door on this level will take you down to the lakefront.

A/C windows units are located in every bedroom, along with the main living room to keep you cool on those warm summer days. Additionally, the home gets excellent wireless reception, so you can stay connected to family, and keep them up to date with your vacation photos!

Are you ready to head outside? Take the stairs to the large permanent dock, with covered boat lift, and kayaks for your boating enjoyment. A gas grill for cooking is located on the main level of the home by the front door, and a fire pit for those late night star gazers can be found on the lakefront. The natural entry beach is great for beginning swimmers, or children to play in the shallows, and the fishing on Seneca Lake can't be beat!

Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests.

1. Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes.
2. Homes are not handicap accessible, unless stated in the description.
3. Air conditioning is not available unless listed as an amenity. If available, air conditioning is considered a seasonal amenity and is only available May 15 - October 15.
4. Where pets are allowed it is indicated. Otherwise, pets are not allowed. Homes are not guaranteed allergen-free, even those that do not allow pets.
5. Docking capabilities may vary based on current water levels. Docking is not guaranteed if water levels are low and/or high due to seasonal weather and climate changes.
6. Outdoor amenities, including furniture, watercraft and firepit are not available between October 15 - May 15.
