Room was modern, clean, practical, had everything you needed. Except there was no bottled water in the room we had. Rituals shampoo etc which was a nice touch. The spa had a lovely swimming pool, but unfortunately every single locker was broken in the changing rooms, the showers around the pool didn’t work and it would be nice to get complementary slippers for spa users with access. The showers in the changing rooms were not much better either, clean and tidy well kept but the showers stay on for no more than 5 seconds - which needs improving. I think they would also benefit from having a swimming costume drying machine in the changing rooms or offer bags for wet suits - this is a standard in all spas. I also think with the price of room rates people staying should receive a discount at least on the parking, or be allocated 24hrs free as a gesture. Overall the stay was pleasant, what we needed, and it was very comfortable.

Amazing stay and great room! Only issue was that we utilised the gym facilities and the dumbells left metal splinters in my partners hands!!! We had to spend a fortune on ‘home remedies’ to remove them, and when we informed the reception they didn’t seem overly interested. He is still having issues with some of the splinters, and will likely have to seek medical assistance to have them removed. This is an issue with low quality equipment, so very frustrating for this to happen at the hotel. The other facilities were great and well maintained.

Having stayed at the hotel many times, I always enjoy returning here. The sofas could be reupholstered. Disappointed that there was no complimentary water in the fridge. Otherwise, the usual warm welcome.
