Annual Family Ski Weekend
Publié le 9 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was in a convenient location right off the highway and minutes from Waterville Valley Ski Area. We enjoyed the layout of the house and appreciated the large comfortable sunken living room.
What we didn't enjoy so much is that there only seemed to be one thermostat to control the whole place and the second floor master suite was too warm for comfort. Also, the kitchen wasn't well equipped for the number of guests the house accommodates. There were no large serving bowls/pieces and not enough plates for all of us to eat from at the same time. The gas fireplace did not fire up either. There were also no wine glasses! These are all minor things (except the temperature controls) but all added up took away from our stay somewhat.

One bedroom is off of the kitchen with a queen and one set of bunkbeds (perfect for a family of 4). The remaining bedrooms are upstairs. The sunken family room is a perfect place to gather with friends a family.

Perfect house for our family gathering

The bedding was comfortable and the showers were hot and refreshing. We also loved the fireplace in the living room. It was a rainy weekend so we were not able to enjoy the yard and surrounding mountains. Next time!

Great NH Getaway
Publié le 19 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis was a very comfortable house with lots of space for our 7 adults and 6 young kids. The house was very clean, and is in a nice secluded setting. The 5 bedrooms, which include 3 bunk beds, are prefect for a large family getaway. The checkin/out process was simple. The property owner was very responsive to a few questions and a minor issue. The policies regarding towels and trash handling should be reviewed ahead of time. We were OK with them. There is a nice deck outside. No grill, but we did not need one. It's a easy 20 minute ride to many great attactions in the Lincoln area and Franconia Notch. All in all we had a really great stay at this property.

Twin bunk beds not good for anyone over 6ft
Property was in a good location to travel to various White Mountain activities
Kitchen was good for the whole family to cook in but it needs mixing bowls and serving bowls.
House needs towels. Travelers do not have room to bring towels when flying.
Garbage compactor a bit annoying.
Grill outside would be helpful.
Need TV instructions to see local sports like the Red Sox.
Label fireplace controls on wall.
Need a place secure from bears for garbage.
