The Sculpture Garden is the home of a large bronze sculpture that the Abrahams commissioned in 1990 called "Coming of Winter: The Forerunner." by William Pochial. It carries an urgent message about the threats to the environment. Mostly, it carries junior high potty humor memories for me as I just remember the 'naked statue' being installed when I was in elementary school down the street. Now that I'm a bit older and kinda more mature, I can appreciate the art behind it. #perspectives

This theater was originally constructed in 1909 as a vaudeville house named Pastime Theatre. In 1916, it was renamed Queen Theatre and became the Palace Theatre in 1932. It has remained a theater ever since. It was restored and renovated in 1996 keeping the original hardwood floors and popcorn maker! The incredible THX certified sound will nearly vibrate you out of your plush slide forward seats! The theatre shows more than just the newest release films. Canadian is known for it's outstanding athletic programs and you can catch the sports action live from a packed house. @palacetheatretx is a shining example of what a small town can do besides fold up its sidewalks. And no, the answer doesn’t include Wal-Mart.
