Had potential

Great location. Pool heater wasn’t working and we weren’t informed until we contacted the host to get it fixed. This was a big disappointment for us as that was the main draw for us. Our young grandkids wanted to swim but it was too cold for them to stay in longer than 5 minutes. BBQ also wasn’t working. Carpets were dirty. Made the most of our trip but the accommodations were disappointing.

Wouldn’t stay here

Property was not well maintained. All pool lounge chairs were broken. The door to the pool was broken, couldn’t lock it. The initial toilet paper was lacking, hand Soap in a few bathrooms, no hand towels or wash clothes. Sheets were torn in the one master bedroom. The house was large just not maintained, I can look past the walls being beat up, some holes, patch jobs. Just a disappointing for the amount you pay.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

Unless owner makes major improvements to the house, I would not recommend renting this property. The many problems occurred outweighed the fact that the house was in a good location to Oasis clubhouse/Pool. - broken lock on patio door compromising safety and security - heavily stain mattresses and rugs (no mattress covers) - lack of pots and pans to cook - HVAC grill bent and vent appeared to be in bad need of cleaning - broken hot tub and pool heating - BBQ burners rusted off and unusable - unusable rusted and broken patio/lounge furniture (although 4 chairs were delivered to the front door on our 2nd to last day) - water heater in garage leaking I was quite concerned that we had no access to Oasis Clubhouse/pool using the address we were staying at because it was blocked by Oasis management. Instructed by Owner to use a different address which he provided us to gain access to Oasis Clubhouse. Felt uneasy about this. Owner became aggressive in communication after pointing out the above problems. Also accused of having more than 9 people at house during our stay. We have rented villas several times in the past on the Championsgate Resort and never before did we have so many issues. Please know that….. The Championsgate Resort is a clean and awesome Resort and the Oasis Clubhouse/pool is fantastic so if you find a decent house to rent you won’t be disappointed with the resort.

Awesome family retreat

3 generations including 2 girls under 3 .House was extremely well stocked with towels dishes etc and the outdoor area and pool were phenomenal. House is huge and offers plenty of privacy when accommodating a large group. Owners were polite and punctual in interactions with us.

We have stayed at champions gate before the oasis club and complex are great! This was our first time renting this property! The house definitely needs some attention, the transition strips between rooms have staples sticking up we had to lay towels down to ensure our kids didn’t get hurt.. the kids beds didn’t have sheets on them only comforters.. the furniture is starting to show its wear with pieces broken… Our biggest downfall was the pool unfortunately according to property manager the heat broke and wasn’t able to be fixed for the stay so for the entire week we couldn’t use the pool or hot tub! We understand that these things can happen and can be out of their control! We are supposed to be receiving a refund for heat! The patio furniture was very weathered and not able to be used! All the legs were rusted and broke we couldn’t use any of the patio furniture at all… Overall we enjoyed our family time the house could definitely have been a better experience we communicated daily with the property owner he was very apologetic… he told us he had ordered patio furniture to be delivered by Amazon but it never showed up… the patio furniture didn’t get that was overnight I can’t imagine this was the first time it was brought to his attention!

Had everything we needed

We had 3 couples, and this home had all the space we needed! Great water pressure in the showers, and comfy beds. Some of the furniture was a little beat up, but it didn’t affect our stay at all. If you come in early May, considered when you might use the pool the most. We should have used the heated option because we would have used it more at night but it was a little too chilly outside. But if you’ll use it more during the day, it’s perfect. The location of this property is great. Really close to the clubhouse pool, which I highly recommend. There is also a Publix for groceries, and plenty of eateries if you don’t feel like messing with the I-4 traffic. The property owner is really invested in your comfort and makes himself available if you need anything. We didn’t lack anything, but if we had, I knew I could contact him. You won’t regret your stay here!

Pool was dirty grill was rusty patio furniture was old and rusted but the house was clean clean towels and linen the only problem was the pool we couldn’t swim that was why I got a house with a pool for the kids to swim but they couldn’t do that cause pool was dirty

Property is not child proof.

While the property did come with a dirty stroller and broken but usable high chair for meals. The pool was not gated. We found the pool gate the last day. So if you see it in photos moving forward— my husband put it up. The door to the pool had no alarm and so my 3 year old fell in but my 7 year old jumped in to save him. Thank God we were all down stair and were able to act fast. The game room in the garage isn’t shown in the pictures. Probably because it offered a ping pong table with one paddle and no balls. There are pan but one pot. This house was not worth it. We had a better time at the oasis. Please look for damages on your first night and inform the manager. We found many damages. It was also hard to communicate because the managers English was not read clear in terms of texting or verbal communication. You get what you pay for.

It is a pity to hear these situations, I would like to clarify something, the pool has protection around the pool that is removed and put on when it is used, I do not understand this comment, in truth, they left the house more than dirty, we had to throw away mats, towels, they allowed the accumulation of water. garbage from your entire stay, when the collection is every day as indicated, it is good that you enjoyed the Oasis clubhouse since it is included free in the reservation of my house, all the comments that you are expressing are because we are going to charge for the damage caused in the house, since they are extremely dirty people, who do not take care of what belongs to others, we are a premium host here at vrbo, all our guests guarantee the work, and I want to clarify that I am not the manager, I am the owner of the house, they always make these complaints when they do not want to be held responsible for their actions, and we have reports to verify that they brought a pet into the house, in short, none of their arguments are from a person Grateful, apart from the fact that I gave her the early check in at no cost and the late check out at no cost and they left an hour more than what they requested, they are not really welcome in the future and the other owners should pay attention to this situation
