All was great. There was a musty smell in the room that was the only concern, initially it was a bit breath taking with my allergies i am more sensitive to strong smells. One adjust to it during the stay but the smell was not pleasant to the nose.I am sensitive to smells. Some guest it may not affect. Considering the age of the facility it is well kept. Enjoyed the visit.

I’m not from the area and I booked online for a lower rate. Waited about 10 mins to check in while the front desk worker argued pretty loudly with another guest and a “manager” on the phone across the street. The room wasn’t very clean and the ac bearly worked. The breakfast staff snapped at us cause we can in at 8:45… the check out guy was the nicest one we encountered. We won’t be back

Very tired overall, but clean and functional. Sink faucet did not work well, bathroom door sticks badly, pollen from trees completely covered my car and had to get a car wash. On the plus side it was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was plentiful and the check-in person was very friendly and helpful. It is a 10 minute drive from downtown Charleston and good restaurants. It is worth the drive to save the money on this hotel and put it toward a nice dinner on the wharf.
