Country Inn & Suites Huntersville was the cleanest hotel that we have ever stayed at. The folks at the front desk were very friendly. We got the room with the jet tub and pull out sofa bed, but due to my son's sensory issues, we had to request to switch rooms in the middle of the night so that we could get sleep (no fault of the hotels). The lady at the front desk was so kind and understanding and had no issues helping us. The next morning, the gentleman at the front desk checked on us to make sure that we were good and had everything that we needed. The location is great and there are so many places to eat and check out that are close. The pool area was clean and warm! They also had a fire pit out on the patio. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town.

Everything seemed clean, staff was helpful when needed. The pool was a joke, it's VERY small and was so crowded we literally just turned around and went back to the room. Breakfast was free but we opted to go out for food. Overall would stay again without kids who wanted to use the pool.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the property itself was a bit rundown. Carpets dirty, elevators dirty. Room smelled like a combination of urine and cigarette smoke. Air fresheners were overly used to try and mask the odors of the property. Would not return to this property especially at the price point they are charging.

While the lobby looks new the rest of the hotel is tired and worn. Beds and bedding need to be replaced. Breakfast is cereal and a few hot options that are ok.

The hotel itself was fine. We checked in late at night and were put in a suite. The sitting room had a urine smell. We addressed it with the man at the front desk when we checked out. He said it was a pet friendly room. Maybe pet friendly rooms shouldn’t be carpeted. Just a thought.

There were signs of wear on some of the doors etc nothing major. Did like the flavored water dispenser. Breakfast was standard free breakfast.
