Publié le 10 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay at this location, it was close to the waterfront and to Victoria square. The property could use some updating but was fine for our needs. The property was well supplied with kitchen dishes, pots and pans etc but lacked small quantities of tea, coffee to get us started. However there was a good supply of toilet paper, paper towel and Kleenex. We initially had trouble with the TV but our host talked us through the steps so we could use it, We were very comfortable there.

Comfy place in the heart of Charlottetown

The washer/dryer combo is shared with another unit and was much appreciated. Many thanks to LeeAnn for being a great host!

Perfect location

So overall our stay was good, but there were some concerns with the property.
Pros:
- great location, easy walking distance to downtown and the food and market on the wharf.
- the dining room and living room were in excellent shape.
- the kitchen was stocked well and they provided some beverages to kick off our vacation.
- the bedrooms are a good size and they provided hangers in the closets as well as a heater in case you need it. (We never needed it as it was quite warm)
- the place comes with and AC unit in the dining room.
- the Wi-Fi and tv were excellent and the information for connecting was easy to find.
- the laundry machines were in good shape, but old models.(Directions?)
Cons:
- the deck leading up to the unit is in pretty bad shape and the one railing is nearly falling off.
- the fire escape deck looks like it is in worse shape and I’m not certain it would even facilitate an escape when needed.
- the main door to the building is difficult to open with the key and there is no indication of which of the two keys is for which door.
- the bathroom door does not latch, meaning you can close the door but locking it does nothing.
- the shower and mirror in the bathroom are placed at a lower height, presumably for 4’ 8” - 5’ 5” people to enjoy.
- this is a con for me, but others may not find it a con: the beds were using a stiff mattress and memory foam pillows. These did not make my sleep come easy and it was stiff and sore mornings for me as a result.

Wonderful location with plenty of space.

Almost a perfect 5 !
