It was a very nice place for either one or two guests to stay. The video on the lock box was very helpful. Make sure guests know it takes about 10 minutes for the hot water to warm up. I knew that in advance, so it was no problem.
Points faibles : Communication, exactitude de lâannonce
The location of property was great.! Door to apt was a little complicated figuring out without key after entering code the first time .building is old you can tell with how the floors creek when you walk . Was a lot of damage inside the bathroom on Ceilings and wall like a bad water leak happened and a hole in bedroom like someone punched the wall next to the bed. The hot water did not seem to work well at all and took 20 mins just to heat up ⊠it could use a touch up for sure and some tlc .. still really nice and cute space
We had a very uncomfortable, inconvenient stay at this unit, best described as:
* Absolutely terrible check in communication. I had to send the owner several texts in order for her to respond back to me so that I could get the door code. I reached out ahead of check in time to get the check in information and she refused to send it to me until after we arrived at the unit and waited 30 minutes before she sent the code.
* There is NO Parking, the listing is incorrect in saying there is parking. The closest paid parking lot is 45 minutes from the unit and paid parking meters are four blocks away and for 2 hours only. Just furious, we had to drive the car into Logans Square, park it and UBER to the unit.
* Once inside, the Air Conditioner did not work in the bedroom, the temperature was 85 degrees outside. There are no adequate window coverings in the bedroom. Super flimsy blinds that do not block out heat or light.
*The AC unit in the bedroom is improperly installed, wide open to the street, very loud, sirens and car alarms going off all night.
* No fans, towels so flimsy even a college student wouldn't use them.
I was not informed about permit parking. Only limited free parking which could end up several blocks away from where I stay. There was only one outlet in the bedroom. There was an awful smell in the hallway. At first entering the apartment I could smell âanimal urineâ. Otherwise no complaints on anything else. I kept everything in a very neat order.
