Rooms were a little run down but the thing that was most confusing is that the pictures on the Expedia site are of the restaurant in the same building but not actually of the hotel. The pictures gives a sense of one thing then showing up I actually thought I was in the wrong hotel, a little bait and switch.

Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. Customer service at the front desk was poor, as there was no greeting upon arrival, with the exception of one guest services staff member and our housekeeper, who were courteous and professional. We were supposed to Valet our car on Sunday after getting permission from the manager at check-in noting that we would be valet in a car and we were unable to because it was full. So we had to go and search for parking. Staff just seemed very unorganized at the front desk. The hotel appears very outdated, which was disappointing given the positive reviews. The beds were old and uncomfortable, with a mattress topper added in an attempt to improve comfort. The pillows were also worn and in need of replacement. Noise was a significant issue, as the rooms were not soundproof and inside and outside noise could be heard at all hours. Additionally, there were several individuals loitering in the hotel entrance hallway, which was concerning. Even though they did keep to themselves. There was also a noticeable smell of marijuana in our hotel hallway, which housekeeping attempted to address. On a positive note, the location was convenient and close to restaurants and museums. We felt safe walking in the area, even during the evening, and did not experience any safety issues outside of the hotel.

Stayed for the weekend to enjoy the city and shopping! Cons: -Rooms may be smaller than expected but they have everything you need -Sink in bathroom was leaking -Items around room looked worn like they will need replaced soon -Parking: the lots they suggest are a bit of a walk (which is difficult with any luggage). Valet is the other option, which is nice but a little pricy.
