Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
I liked the location very much and the room was clean and comfortable. There was no mini fridge in the room--which was disappointing--but the filtered water available in the hallway was nice. There is a strange and large equipment vent in the ceiling right above my bed, which I do not like. I had a better experience the last time I stayed here (I stayed in the River Hotel downstairs. The room was bigger, had a mini fridge and a view of the river). I was curious how the Club Quarters compared to the River Hotel as occupy the same building and I have found it is inferior.
Small rooms but comfortable and for a great price considering the prime location. The staff was exceptional and went out of their way to be helpful

Disliked: Staff & service
The front desk staff was confrontational and rude when I mentioned that I had requested a room away from the elevators during booking. She said nothing was available and denied seeing any notes, which I understand—but there was no need to be dismissive or argumentative. It got to the point where I had to ask her to stop.
Due to self check-in, I wasn’t given basic information about the room, parking, breakfast, or Wi-Fi and had to wait until the next morning for assistance from different staff, who were helpful. The front desk manager was kind, apologized, and offered a one-night discount, which was appreciated but not necessary.
My main feedback: please treat guests with courtesy—people choose your hotel and should feel welcome. This was an isolated bad experience; otherwise, the hotel is nice and well located. Be mindful that self check-in can vary depending on the staff’s attitude.

I’ve stayed here a twice in vastly different rooms (size-wise). A very compact room with a small but tall vertical window with a view down the river would be my choice over the larger room with an alleyway view. This is a traveler’s hotel, simple with basic amenities, great location, clean, and lots of foreign and domestic travelers coming and going. The gym is satisfactory and compact. The lobby is purely a transitory space with a small basic coffee lobby on the second floor. It’s a comfortable place to rest your head, but not where you lounge around in the lobby or really your room for that matter. I would definitely stay here again as my visits to Chicago take me into the city and I don’t spend much time in the hotels.
Amazing service, only complaint would be the walk to parking garage, location is fantastic was able to walk almost anywhere around and close to Michigan avenue

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Check was very easy. The shower felt like you were in a locker room. The windows were dirty wbich obstructed a great view of The Chicago River. The ironing board was broken and the iron leaked but the staff replaced them immediately. Also, the bed I was two twin beds to make a queen bed. The location is great but I will not stay here again.
