Upon arrival entry was required through the back, up 3 flights of stairs that were loose in some places and the railing held together by loose brackets and nails. It was certainly not up to code nor safe. When we entered the property, there was mold on the bath mat in the shower, a random flosser in the closet, and the sheets had hair and dust on them. The air returns were caked with dust to the point that my children were sneezing and having issues breathing. I contacted the host, who was thankfully very responsive, but unwilling to address the issues through a refund. The host was willing to leave a new battery for the smoke detector that was dead, but unwilling to understand our concerns of safety and cleanliness, insisting that the place was cleaned by the cleaners. We ended up leaving because we were so uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying in this property until the hand railing and stairs are fixed, especially since thatâs the main entry point for the unit. Truly all it would take is one push and the hand railing would collapse.
