Lower standards than other Hiltons

I have stayed at many Hiltons in my life, this was by far the worst. I was shocked by the state of the room, it had water damage in the ceiling and along the floor in the bathroom. The water didn't drain from the tub, meaning I ended up with water up to my knees while having a shower. It was disgusting. I did bring this up with them at reception, but their only solution was to give my points in the loyalty program (?) that I had already told her I'm not a member of. I explained that I was beyond disappointed paying $200 per night for something so low quality. I've stayed in Motel 6s with better standards.

Can’t say enough about this wonderful hotel! The room was immaculate, and we took advantage of the pool and the gym. The location is PERFECT! The staff is exceptionally kind and friendly. We just spent seven nights here, and we enjoyed every moment of being in fabulous Chicago. It’s now our fav city!! Thanks for making our vacation so great . . . hope to come back here next year!

Great location, closeby to shopping and restaurants. And 15 walk to magnificient river. Heated pool was a bonus. We also had a corner room with nice view. Shower was really nice. Wish it had free breakfast. Samuel was great for helping us set up our uber ride to the airport. Will stay again. Thank you very much.

Room was good, shower was a bit tie and since it’s a green room the AC would turn off during the night until motion was detected, good thing it was not that hot outside. Carpet does need some replacement. Best part was the subway station Grand is right in the same corner, very convenient to get to downtown loop. Some good restaurants and the casino were around the corner. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately they have a policy for cleaning the rooms every other day, but you can grab towels from the carts or call front desk. Overall the stay was very pleasant.
