This hotel was perfect for our stay. We felt safe in this area and we were right by the river making for great pictures! Public transit was also very close. Walking around at night felt safe too.

Nice hotel. Great, walkable area. Friendly staff. if a fitness room is important i recommend looking elsewhere. The gym was underequipped, with far too few machines, weights, and mats, and 3 of the treadmills were broken (incline was broken on one, speed on the other, and the third just didn't work.) This is clearly not a new issue.

The hotel staff were very friendly from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of items that had something for everyone. We have stayed at several Holiday Inn Expresses around the country and this is by far one of the best! Would definately stay there again when we come back to Chicago!

Although the hotel has a great location and the building looks really fancy, there are 2 hotels working under the same facility, and the Holliday-Inn rooms are not at the same level as the rest of the building and facilities in general. The room was big, with a nice King bed, however, you can tell by the simplicity of it, that it is a Holiday-Inn. You would be deceived at the beginning with the luxury of the building and the bar/restaurant, but the reality for the Holiday-Inn is quite different. The breakfast was really overpriced: $30 for a buffet, plus the coffee is separate. Not a good option to eat there.

Hotel was ok-ish. The room was average at best for cleanliness. The A/C unit was beat up and had a funk coming from it that was pretty gross. On top of that, I was charged twice for parking and it’s been nearly impossible to get my money back. There are a lot of hotels in Chicago, look elsewhere.

When we checked in the man who checked us in, didn't give us the details of the hotel (pool times and locations, hours of bar and restaurant). Luckily I was listening to the girls who were checking in the other guests. Remainder of the stay was amazing. Room was clean
