An overnight stay

Nice, but for $362. it was a very simple room on the 22nd floor, and overlooking rooftops. The TV didn't work and the technician who came to fix it said he would return while I was at dinner, which was fine. He never showed up.

This property is located in an excellent location for people visiting Chicago. Many places are walkable from the hotel and the State/Grand subway station (red line) is not far away. In addition there are frequent buses up and down Michigan Avenue. There is a very nice - and quite popular - roof top bar that also serves some food. The sleeping room - at least the one we had - was about average in size and features. Our reservation came with a European style buffet breakfast. The emphasis was on quantity rather than quality for the breakfast. The hotel's first floor staff was kind but quite uninformed about the area. I assume they - and perhaps the hotel - are quite new. Once fees and destination charges are added in the cost is pretty pricey.

We were there for 4 nights. Service is excellent, breakfast was really good!! (more than most American hotels I visited), rooftop bar is very cool, room was clean and quiet (but we were on a high floor so I think it might be noisier on the lower levels).
