Remember that you get what you pay for. We stayed here becasue it was a mile and a half from base and we were there for my daughter's bootcamp graduation. Staff was friendly, and they have a shuttle service that was WONDERFUL! The driver knew shortcuts and got us there in no time! The room had a funky smell and we had to have our window open when we were there. Beds were not comfortable and shower had very little water pressure. Would I stay there again for the purpose of the graduation, YES. Would I stay there for any other reason, no. Luckily we were only there for one night and the rest of our trip we stayed in Downtown Chicago for $400+ a night.

I went to my son celebration at the Navy recruit in Great Lakes. The drive from the hotel to the location was less than10 minutes, with out the ceremony traffic. This hotel is very peaceful with plenty parking. I enjoyed and would recommend this hotel to families that will be attending their child's Navy Ceremony.

The hotel was pretty average. Nothing really ‘spectacular’. It could definitely use more lighting in the rooms especially around the mirror. The light that was above the bed didn’t work, either. It served its purpose though!

Recommend for Navy Graduations!

I'm picky on my hotels I stay in!! This one was nice! I would stay again! It was perfect distance from the base for my son's graduation! Definitely recommend for navy graduations! Just wish it had a pool!!

I love how close this place is so close to Great Lakes Naval Station. We needed to be at the PIR early in the morning. We didn’t have to wake up that early because the drive was only a little over 10 minutes away. The hotel is run by friendly staff.Everything I have asked for, whether it be ext towels, blankets, pillows, they gave it to me with no fuss. We highly recommend this place if your recruit is graduating, or even if it’s just for a night or two. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you Sleep Inn staff!

Traveled to highland park for my daughter’s performance of Hairspray in highland park. It was 15 min from the theatre. Comfortable and affordable (ac was a lil loud but barable) . We’d booked again.
