Beautiful retreat

The house itself is simple but had everything we needed, and it was very clean and comfortable. We loved being able to see the lake and woods through all of the large windows even when inside. Overall it was a wonderful, relaxing stay and we hope to come back soon.

Lovely Weekend Getaway
Publié le 12 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were happy to getaway from the noise of the cities with a cabin that allowed our pup (german shepherd and husky mix) to be off leash without worrying about running into neighbors. There was plenty of hot water for a relaxing shower after being out and about all day. The only downside was forgetting to bring coffee grounds, none in the house, and the nearest shop that was open on Sunday was in Alexandria.

Absolutely beautiful
Publié le 4 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayFor New Years Eve we stayed here and it was absolutely stunning. Minnesota is cold in winter but the house was beautiful, warm and inviting. The private lake was geogeous even covered in ice. We enjoyed our stay and will likely do it again.

Publié le 30 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayVery quiet and comfortable stay. There are other houses on lake, but no docks, so it does feel like the small lake is all yours. Communication with host was efficient and cabin was clean and everything in good order... except there was no hot tub! :-(
The host explains in the guest book that due to dept. of health regulations the whirlpool has been removed. (Being the case, it should also be removed as an amenity).

Fall Getaway

Perched on a small hill overlooking the lake, we were able to enjoy the weather, the color of the leaves (although we were just a bit late for the full display) and the setting sun while sitting on the covered patio. We were also able to walk thru the crunching leaves in the surrounding woods. The cabin was clean, quiet and comfortable. Thanks Page for a great place to find all of the above.

Amazing getaway
Publié le 8 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayVery private, location was amazing. Trees around the property were changing into fall colors so gorgeous. Had every thing you need in kitchen and for grilling. Did have a small crockpot there but we brought our own crock pot from home. There was 2 grills on the deck. Deck is large and covered and was so wonderful for taking in the scenery. Perfect for my husband and I and our dog. Bedroom was large and cozy and comfortable bed and pillows too. Couch was comfortable, had lots of games, and nice TV for the rainy days we were stuck inside. Air worked well. Nice bathroom, lots of towels provided and very spacious shower. Large garage, we didn't use but you could definitely play games and hang out in there. Was also another table and chairs in garage and a dog bed. There were nice looking kayaks and a canoe but we didn't use them water was a little chilly by then haha. Page was so awesome and responded quickly to any questions we had. We can't thank you guys enough for letting us rent your amazing property! Overall amazing experience would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away from people and just take in beautiful nature! Can't wait to go back!
