Avis Two Sisters at the Frio

Shannon was above and beyond helpful after some miscommunication on VRBO's side. They location is so near the local shops, stores, and rivers to float. It was a fun, cute getaway.

We stayed a few days and the cabin was great for our family visit to the Frio. Well supplied and good communication with the owner.

The river was far from the cabin and the cleaning charge was too much . When you still have to do some cleaning.

If you are going with a group and plan on cooking all your meals, this place has a lot of kitchen countertops! Easy to get to the river, and right in the middle of all the Concan fun!!!

Fun place to stay, large enough for everyone to hang out inside or out. Located right behind hippie chick's restaurant/bar, next to the pool/splash pad and convience store. Perfect location. Great time with my grown college age kids! Owner was super friendly and communicated well.

Location of this house was the best part. Right in the middle of Concan but very secluded and quiet. Walking distance to River Oaks Resort and Hippie Chic's River Shack and close to Andy's on River Road. The inside of the house was clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. There were even coffee filters. We did buy more trash bags and paper towels and purchased dishwashing soap as it wasn't provided. The microwave never heated up but we made due with the oven. It definitely needs a new fridge as it kept popping open. There were 3 bedrooms - king, queen, and 2 twins. The living room had 3 large futons which were awesome to sit on, but the teenage boys said they were not comfortable to sleep on. Also, 2 boys had to share one and it didn't provide them a lot of room. I would say this house sleeps 9 adults. The outside patio needed to be cleaned of bottle caps and cigarette butts and the grill was not clean. Our only major disappointment is that we could not go tubing. I had reached out to the owner about tubing and she said all the information was in the house and that there were lots of things to do. We did call the companies listed when we got to the house and they said there hadn't been tubing all summer. It was my son's 18th birthday and all he wanted to do was float the river. I guess I should have done my research because I feel like I didn't get an honest answer from the owner. Luckily, Andy's on River Road helped us find a spot to at least sit in the river. The boys also used the River Resort pool one day for $7.50 a person. Additionally, we were there Tuesday through Thursday and places like Hippie Chicks and the food trucks were closed so basically not a lot to do. Also very disappointing for the teenage boys although the Frio Float ice cream shop was close by and awesome!
