Do NOT GO HERE!! We have a very deep concerns for how this hotel operates that I will be reporting to the BBB as well. When checking in, the girl behind the counter asked to see our ID and credit card. No problem. She copies my ID onto a piece of paper then proceeds to manually write my credit card number down on the piece of paper with my ID. We asked her what they do with the piece of paper and she says they put all the guests information into a drawer for any "incedentals." So they have all our ID and credit card information on loose paper sitting in a drawer in the office? This is a great mishandling of of guests sensitive information. CC#'s and ID's should be encripted in a safe way that doesn't allow the manager or employees access to it. Anyone of the employees or managers could be using or selling that information. I can't imagine this is standard practice for Super 8. This is the first time we've stayed at a super 8 and it will be the last. On top of that, the room had painted over mold in the bathroom, no toilet paper holder and very old used furniture. Someone needs to contact this place immediately overhaul their handling of guests information.

Pluses: Parking was convenient, well-lit and area seemed safe with convenient dining and shopping. Check-in was quick, though standard paper-based form surprised me as I'd already checked in online. Efficient desk clerk. Room had a microwave and refrigerator; both clean. Air conditioner was effective, especially on 'Dry' setting which really helped reduce initial clammy feel. Comfortable mattress. Good Internet. Cool Lone Star wall mural. Minus side: overall dated look to room with general scent of stale cigarettes and damp basement. Bed had what appeared to be mini-pillows, couch was stained, and lampshades had brown spots (hopefully just cigarette burns). No USB ports so bring your own. Breakfast was rudimentary: waffles, cereal, coffee, orange juice and microwaveable mini sausage biscuits. I did not give a below-average review because unfortunately, based on recent stays at other hotels - including Super 8s - conditions once unacceptable even within this price range now seems standard thanks probably to years of inflation.

Price was good. Other than that, not a good stay.... Room smelled bad. Room was very dated and had not been maintained very well. Furniture was old and in terrible shape. Sheets were very thin and rough/itchy.....Couldnt wait to get out of there.....Its a nice area. No reason for it to be so run down. Probably foreign ownership....

A pitty

We have stayed in this Hotel before and the previous time it was good( 2 years ago). This time there was only 3 small pillows on the bed. The shower head is very old and the water is spraying all over, except where it should go. The place has deteriorated since last time. The manager was very friendly and helpful when our door entrance card did not work halfway through the stay.

Go somewhere else

We parked by our room which was next to the office and the owner/manager was not happy we had taken "his" spot. The pool was locked on August 24 with temps in the 90's.The owner/manager told the housekeeper "no key" but when he saw us there waiting, he walked down with a very angry look and unlocked the gate. He never spoke to us. Pool was filthy. Hot tub was advertised but there was no hot tub. Bathroom faucet had no hot water and barely a trickle. Housekeeper didn't come until 5 pm and didn't make the bed. Breakfast ended well before the advertised 9 am. Recliner was broken. Only one nightstand lamp. Refrigerator had no freezer but froze our food. This is part of Wyndham?
