A convenient location with pros and cons

The hotel is a 10 minute drive to Cooperstown. So it's definitely a convenient location. We arrived 2 hours before check-in time. The front desk rep was short and salty with us about needing to come back at check-in time. So we hung out in Cooperstown in the meantime. Our second check-in person was much nicer. Having a microwave and larger fridge is definitely a plus. We brought from grocery basics with us to save some money- and the fridge size was great. But the floor leading into our room was sticky when we walked in. I ended up wiping everything down myself. The room is spacious, but the walls are thin. We could hear full conversations of our neighbors and their kids in their room. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on how it was but we did see fruit, waffle makers, oatmeal, sausages, eggs.

The hotel was adequate but not great. Definitely showing its age. Our door frame was not installed properly and you could hear the people walking around on the upper floor. Breakfast was okay and location was fine. When they cleaned our room the door was not fully closed after they left.

We called and asked for towels maybe 12x and never got them. Had to go to the front desk. They advertised everywhere for apps on the TV. You could not cast a single app onto their tv’s. Only whatever was on the local tv stations. So we were left watching Hangover 2 without curses. Do you know what that’s like? And commercials? It was like I traveled back in time. I called the front desk and said I’ve been trying to cast for 30 and she told me, you won’t be able to watch any of your apps on the big screen. The tv’s need to be updated. Meanwhile, on the tv itself it had a barcode you can scan to cast your apps but ultimately never work. WTH? Also, there was a curtain shredded and barely holding on. But the beds were comfy. The front desk were very accommodating and so friendly. But they were overwhelmed because they had to do everyone’s job. Also the breakfast was view. Great view of the hills

Room did not smell the greatest. Room was ok- beds slept great but carpet was dingy and dirty looking. No soundproofing- you can hear every noise from hallway and above (we were on the first floor). Front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly but the lady managing the breakfast was not. It did the job for a couple days passing thru the area.

Very clean and attentive staff. Rooms were comfortable. My only comment is, the beds are high off the floor, I’m 5’3” with arthritis in my hip. Nothing that wasn’t workable.

Comfortable stay.

Breakfast was good. Shower was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were unable to get WIFI in the room and their laptop was in Spanish.

told the staff that there was hair all around the hot tub and pool. first one was like not my problem. second was like sure can't be that much. two young lady's getting in the hot tub almost lost their cookies when they saw it. Breakfast was above average.
