Craftsman House Charming Arts & Craft style home close to Cooperstown village
Craftsman House - One Mile from Downtown Cooperstown! This home is very convenient to shops and restaurants in the village of Cooperstown as well as the Clark Sports Center just down the road.
Recently the whole interior was meticulously and lovingly renovated. The user-friendly layout of the kitchen is a favorite gathering place with seating at the counter. The sunken living room has glass doors that lead out to the backyard. The 1st floor bedroom has a private entry from the front of the house as well as a door leading to the outside deck. There is a half bathroom located on 1st floor.
The second floor has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The 2nd floor primary has a Queen bed and an on-suite full bathroom with a shower. There is a hallway full bathroom with tub/shower use to access from the 2nd bedroom. There are 2 additional twin beds in the 2nd floor sleeping off, great for the kiddos.
The pleasant backyard is complete with horseshoe pits and a fire pit. A spacious deck off the dining room offers space for outside dining and relaxing.
Craftsman style homes have a perennial appeal for people who enjoy the design philosophy of the Arts & Craft style. The beauty of Craftsman House is based in its simplicity where 'form follows function'. The frame of this delightful home is actually from three different eras. The original portion of the home which is over 200 years old was later combined with another house frame, then 20 years ago the back portion was added.

Exceptional experience for a family
The Craftsman House and host was incredible for us. We traveled to Cooperstown as a family of 5 adults for a wedding and we were all very comfortable. Each bedroom is perfectly fitted with comfy bedding, storage, and AC. The kitchen has everything - gadgets, condiments, serving bowls and more. We used the grill and enjoyed the yard too. The hosts were responsive with email communication, clear directions for the home and labels. It is extremely clean house too.
The house has so much history, it was very peaceful to stay there. We loved our weekend cooking, relaxing, and easy access to everything. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Cooperstown and we enjoyed the Craftsman house.
There were plenty of rooms for us to enjoy in the house (4 adults and 2 children ages 8 and 4). The owners provided everything we needed during our stay including sheets, pillows, blankets, bath towels, toilet paper, hand soaps, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. We felt like we were “home”. It is a beautiful home.
I also really appreciated the quick response from Robbin, the owner of the house, after I reached out to her via email about places she would recommend for my kids. She made such great recommendations and it made our stay very enjoyable. We would recommend staying in the Craftsman house to anyone looking to stay near downtown Cooperstown area.
