This was one of the most-special and memorable experiences my wife and I have ever had with a VRBO property and Owner. I had recently received a devastating medical diagnosis causing us to think about forfeiting our stay for 3 nights. After not checking in the 1st night, we decided to call Frank and let him know why we had not checked in but that we changed our minds and wanted to come for the last 2 nights as we needed the solitude and peace that his property on the lake might provide us. He called me himself and was most-gracious and understanding and offered us a full refund. When we declined his generous offer, he offered to have us stay a complimentary extra night or 2 as he wanted to help us and have us experience the special peace of the lovely home and the lake. It was everything we needed and we thank God for introducing us to Frank personally and for the blessing that he was to us as well as the respite we received by experiencing his Little Piece of Heaven. God Bless you Frank â€ïž
The house was perfect for our family of four. It was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. We enjoyed swimming and floating in the water, fishing and family movies in the big basement. The Fuseball table was an added bonus. I had plenty of choices when I sat to read, by the fireplace, two porches, indoor and out, or down by the water. Frank was very responsive and helpful. We would happily stay here again.
My wife and I had a great time in a great house. Sunsets were beautiful and the house was comfortable and clean. It was on a nice spot on the pond and had everything we needed. Frank the host was fantastic: very responsive to questions and easy to get in touch with. All in all a wonderful week.
We had a great stay at your property. It was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. The house was much larger than expected and we enjoyed the peacefulness sitting on the dock with our morning coffee. Thank you!
What a lovely home! When we arrived we were in awe of the magnificent views from the dining area, to the lake below. The expansive deck also lent wonderful views all around. The home was very light and airy with all the windows, high ceilings, and skylights. This did not feel like a rental, it felt like a cherished home. The decor was very eclectic and modern, and the appliances and cookware were top notch. There was an Alexa or Nest wired in most rooms to play music, turn on lights, TV, etc, What also struck us was the privacy of the place, with a terrific waterfront access to the lake, as well as the neighborhood beach and float next door. The kayaks provided were a lot of fun, and Robinson Pond was the perfect size for exploring. We also loved the wildlife around the lake. We had a deer visit us one evening, and a giant blue heron could be seen skimming across the pond most mornings, or seen sitting on the float in the lake. The only less than perfect thing to say, was it was a little bit of a drive to the supermarkets and restaurants. We discovered that Great Barrington, about a thirty minute drive, was our favorite place to go for amazing dining. The only real disappointment we experienced, was that Bash Bish Falls was closed due to construction, but we did manage to go biking on the newly renovated Harlem Valley rail-trail, and we did go up the Catamount ski-lift for a view of the Taconic-Berkshire mountains. What a memorable week we had!
Great place with lake access & sunset views. Swimming/diving dock wasn't there due to low lake levels, but beach club right next door had a nice place to swim. Kitchen could've used a baking sheet and some olive oil, but other than had everything we needed!
Place was better than described. Exceeded expectations. Frank, the property manager made sure everything was perfect and was really helpful in making our stay as good as it can be.
