"The house was beautiful and well kept. There were two issues that came up early in the day that the company did respond quickly but didn't send someone til after 5:00. Our trip was at the end of July and we brought our pontoon boat. The boat dock is not that large and the owner's boat was there so it was hard to park our large pontoon without almost touching their boat. The water was around 4' in July by the dock and the description of property says they lower the water in winter-so be cautious of that if bringing a boat. I did find it odd there were so many locked closets and cabinets-way more than I have ever seen at a rental house. Also for a house that can sleep this many-the extra refrigerator in the garage was locked. We couldn't use the "gameroom" which is the garage. There is no air in there at all and it was ghastly hot. We tried a few times but we didn't last long. There are so many options for portable/one room A/Cs so was very disappointing this nice of a house didn't have something like that that could make the area useable in such hot weather. Lastly-two of the bedrooms upstairs didn't have closets-they were out in the hallway. The house was gorgeous and we picked it also because we could bring our dogs which was a requirement for our family. Most nicer houses didn't allow dogs so this was definitely a great find for pet owners who like bigger, nicer lake homes for their vacation."
