Amazing, beautiful home!
Publié le 5 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed being on the top of the world in this beautiful home. It was slow going to climb the road to the house but in a car with 4 wheel drive you can make it. We have never stayed in a home that is as clean and well stocked as this house.

Mountain Perfection
Publié le 25 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful clean house with everything you could need. Great to be away from touristy places and host is exceptional. Views are beyond gorgeous and tons of wild life. Get ready for anything as far as weather.
Memories for a lifetime!

Breathtaking
Publié le 10 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis felt like a true mountain vacation. The house is gorgeous and the views are breathtaking. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. We loved the deer that came every day. Trent (host) was the best. He gave so much information ahead of time which allowed us to plan well. This truly was an amazing experience.

Amazing

The views in the pictures do not do it justice. The night sky on a clear night was incredible. 5 Stars plus. We will be back!

Amazing Getaway with great views
Publié le 27 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe could not have asked for a better place to stay. Communication with Trent was was easy and always helpful. He worked to find us a photographer who was amazing and did a fantastic job. Shelly (housekeeperextraordinaire) was helpful and so kind. The house was amazing. Everything was up to date and so cozy. We really did not need for anything except another week to enjoy it. The view is stunning. We saw lots of wildlife I especially loved the chipmunks but the mule deer where everywhere . You will need to expect a 20 minute drive down the mountain to get to the highway only because you are at the top with your beautiful view so it was worth it. So much to see in Darby, Hamilton and the outdoors providers you with days of entertainment from fishing, to scenic drives, to swimming and hiking. It was a great stay. It provided us with the relaxation we needed to spend with our children!

Thank you for such a glowing review! We work hard on the details and well, the view speaks for itself and the wildlife seem to make themselves at home on the doorstep, literally. The Bitterroot Valley has more to offer than we can begin to list. We hope you and your kids will consider us for next season, we'd love to have you. Yes, Shelly is nothing short of amazing and I tell her religiously we are lucky to have her. Your kind words make her want to stick around. Beautiful
Publié le 21 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe road up is a little intimidating if you are afraid of heights, but it is safe and the view takes your breath away once you arrive. Having coffee with the mule deer in the morning and watching billions of stars at night is how I would love to start and end every day. Plenty of chairs on the deck for stargazing but I would bring fold-out chairs that lay flat for the driveway that leaves no obstructed view of the night sky.
During the day my family and I had fun whitewater rafting, fishing the rivers on the way to Painted Rock state park, swimming at Lake Como, hiking Baker Lake, the Darby Rodeo and horseback riding.
We had a wonderful family vacation with our 3 teens. Thank you for letting us share a little piece of your heaven :)

Thank you for such a great review. We agree the road in/out can be intimidating, but the end justifies the road traveled. Thank you for the input on the flat laying chairs, we will be looking at that opportunity. We strive to provide a vacation rental that accommodates just about every taste in life, even the teen crowd. Our teen grandkids love it here as they were born and raised with concrete under their feet. We will be going to our first Darby Rodeo this next weekend.

Amazing

This was our first time to Montana & we will be back again! Trent has been awesome since we’ve booked the place an throughout the entire stay, Shelly came to pick up the trash while we were there an gave us some in sight on waterfall near by. Great People!
The house is very nice up to date & was very clean.
We had some friends meet us there for a few days we had a total of 5- Adults, 2- Teens, & 3- 6-10yr olds the house had more then enough room for everyone.
Our friends stayed a total of 3 nights we stayed a total of 7 nights there was 5 of us that stayed the remainder of the trip.
The wildlife is in abundance around the property & along the drive to the house.
If you want the scenery & the seclusion away from everyone where you can just kick back relax an take it all in then, I can’t recommend this place enough the sky at night an the views during the day just beautiful.

Oh my, I am not sure we could have asked for a better review! I am reserved when I make the statement that our photos do not do the property any justice, but it warms my heart when our guests say if for us.
As far as the staff, they are the lifeblood of the operation. We love what we do and love being the ambassadors of the Big Sky State.

ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE
Publié le 26 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayMy family and I came for a week in July 2023. To get to the house is about a 30-45 minute drive from town. Once you hit the dirt road, you are climbing steadily up the mountain. That dirt road takes you to a piece of heaven on earth. It was truly amazing! My family and I had a great time and would love to come back! Everything was absolutely perfect - the house was exactly as described and being able to communicate and ask questions with the owner of the house was so nice. Trent (the owner) was amazing to work with and communicate back and forth with. He truly wanted my family and I to have a great time at his house and in Montana. I wish all my experiences with VBRO rentals came with a Trent - he went above and beyond to make this trip special for our family. If you are looking for a nice house in the mountains with million dollar views, this is the house for you. You will not be disappointed!
