Would stay again
Publié le 9 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayScott is an excellent host. His communication is quick specific. I stayed at the house for a state wrestling tournament with my 10 year old son and a friend of his. Another coach and son came later as well. The kids loved the upstairs to play their video games and have their own space. Location is 1 mile from downtown, close to everything. The house was very clean and servicable. I would stay there again if back in Decatur.
Also, I had left a sweatshirt, Scott mailed it back to me right away, I appreciated how available he was.

Publié le 9 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property was clean and in good working order. The neighborhood is quiet and the house was comfortable with heating and everything else working well. We appreciate the coffee, and basics in the kitchen. Be aware that there is only one bathroom with a shower/bath, and that the upstairs largest bedroom does not have a shower. Getting access was super easy.

Cute place, not so cute neighborhood

Digital Ecobee thermostats are touch screen and can be changed at anytime with the simple press of the screen up or down. You contacted me once in a text message and requested that I set the temperature for you to your comfort levels for sleeping temperature and morning temperature during your stay and I honored that request and even set a schedule according to your specific requested comfort levels. You never mentioned to me that you thought that it was locked nor did I hear from you again in regards to the temperature because it was set to a schedule that you requested. I have a copy of the text you sent me with no mention of a locked thermostat which is simply not true. I feel like if you didn’t understand how to operate an ecobee digital thermostat then I should have been informed and contacted so that I could have walked you thru the process of simply manually changing the temperature before giving me a negative review. Regardless thank you for choosing the Historical California bungalow for your stay and I will continue to be a premier host to all my guests.
