Publié le 2 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayIf you are considering staying on the South Shore this property is highly recommended. Everything from start to finish was perfect. It is in a beautiful cove with lovely views from the terrace. Perfect for morning coffee or late evening drinks. The house was clean , spacious and well maintained. It was very well equipped with all household items and amenities. We enjoyed day trips to Luneberg, Mahone Bay and Peggy’sCove as well as shorter jaunts to Chester and Hubbards. Communication with the owners was excellent and we were delighted to have chosen this house. Highly recommended.

Publié le 21 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThis was actually better than what we had anticipated: we thought the view of the cove would be a bit obstructed by the other houses but it was not. It is a perfect, serene, peaceful place. You can have your morning coffee, or late afternoon cocktail sitting in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the cove…aaaahhhh!
The house was perfect, our friends stayed in the upstair’s room, us downstairs. Each our own bathrooms. There is enough space to enjoy and respect everyone. Everything you need was there (pots, containers, dishes, etc). And it was also convenient to have the washer and dryer.
Nancy was easy to reach and always helpful, even providing info on events taking place close by while we were there. When we go back to Nova Scotia, we will be sure to enquire about returning.

Summer in Nova Scotia

Best VRBO
Publié le 19 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis is the best VRBO in which we have ever stayed. It was a quiet and peaceful cove from where we could take day trips. It was also the most well stocked vacation home we have ever seen. It had everything we needed. All 6 of us enjoyed the cottage very much!

Serene, spacious and private
Publié le 8 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayLovely setting — convenient yet off the beaten path. Lots of space; fireplace came in handy a few evenings, and the morning and evening vistas were breathtaking.
Best breakfast ever at Kiwi Cafe in Chester.
Have already recommended to several friends!

Wonderful relaxing stay

The cottage is lovely inside and out. I would definitely stay their again and would highly recommend it to my friends and family. Check in process was straightforward and property owners were quick to respond to and questions. Thank you for sharing your place with us!!!

Great for Families
Publié le 22 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe were 4 adults (2 couples) and one infant and stayed 5 nights at this cottage/house. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The location had a beautiful view out over Deep Cove. The spacious interior had 3 bedrooms (2 on the main floor and one upstairs) and one bathroom on each level, including a tub on the main floor. Lots of hot water. Kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies were excellent. Anything you may have forgotten is probably there. High chair and sleeping cot for the little one, plus a few toys and beach items.
Communication with the owners was great. Would we stay again? Absolutely!

It is welcoming, comfortable and quiet.
The scenery is amazing.
We had quick communication with the owners. They were friendly and professional. This home has everything you need.
