The smell and conditions were so bad that we didnt even stay. Even though I complained that the suite was no where near as advertised they would not refund our money. The ratings online are completely false. We of course did not stay and they kept our money. Tjere in no way anyone could honestly give this place a good rsing of anykind. The only redeeming factor was the lady on staff who was very kind and understanding. She should get all the money and go for dinner.

Location and price are great. Its an old building. Can look shady but we had safe experience. We read reviews like overcharging and not returning the deposit but that is wrong. The staff were great. There are great restaurants nearby in walkable distance. So if you are looking for a budget friendly motel to travel around the coast and Victoria, this is a good option.

For over $100 a night, upgrades should be done; rooms have an old, stale odor, grout and surfaces are old and discolored, bed linens are old and worn, outside of building looks dilapidated.

The place was good enough & cheap, we came for a wedding and the Motel gave us a place to lay our head. Reception was friendly and effective. Yes, if we came for the same reason than we would stay here.

Property is quite dated and in disrepair. Needs renovations desperately. They were painting the outside when we got there, so they are working on improvements. But for the price, it was expected. Safe and friendly. Just needs help.

I read other reviews about this motel so I was pretty terrified to stay there (I should have read the reviews before it was too late to cancel). It wasn’t bad at all - the bed was squeaky but everything was clean. It’s just an older property. Check in was easy, parking was great, felt safe, walked to the beach, close to the ferry.
