Do not book this unprofessional hotel

Room is small and not designed for a bedroom, big window is right above your bed, cold air will blow on your head when you are sleep. They give us a very small table for breakfast, I asked them is this table for one person or two? The answer was its for one person but it is for two of you. It is a very bad answer. Also, they only provide one meal for two person, they let us share one meal. I am a history researcher, when to many countries, never seen such bad service. Do not book this hotel if you have any other options. Thanks for reading.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Smithfield Hotel. Lovely room, comfy bed, and great shower. Excellent breakasts and restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful!

From the minute we were greeted at check in until we left we were so impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The seafood in the restaurant was one of the best meals we had in Scotland. Room was as advertised. Great little spot!

Excellent host, meeting all of our needs. Exceptionally good breakfast, each morning. Hot and made to order. Very good location, close to shops and restraunts.
