Great stay
Publié le 8 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayJean and her husband were wonderful hosts. Everything was exactly as described and we were really happy being able to cook our own meals.
We were traveling with a one year old and the apartment was very well baby-proofed. Lastly, we got good advice on a nice little hike and were even offered hiking poles.
We would definitely stay again.

The perfect stay!
Publié le 16 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThe host is excellent! Excellent communication and was very willing to work with us and the accommodations we needed. The check in process was easy and getting in to the house with a key pad made things simple. Beautiful property and close to Targhee and to town for food. Very friendly hosts and helped us with places to eat and so nice to our three teenagers! Extremely clean and plenty of amenities. Would definitely stay here again when we return to Driggs.

Great Stay!

The view of Wyoming from the property was amazing, with a clear view of the night sky. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay a few nights, for a peaceful retreat.

Cozy basement stay with great owners
Publié le 14 août 2023 sur HomeAwayPicture perfect cabin. You will be staying in the basement but it is very spacious. Comfortable beds. Amazing owners. They respond super fast and are there if you need anything. Driggs is a great town to access Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons. The Grand Tetons sit just over the mountains in from of the cabin. Great sunsets. I’m sure the sunrises were good as well we just missed those. Be sure to go to Butter Cafe and Big Hole BBQ in Victor, Idaho. You won’t be disappointed. If you are looking for a farm setting with great mountain views without being in the hustle and bustle of a tourist town, this is your place.

Publié le 8 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWhen reviewing the information online it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. The beautiful picture portrayed on the website was a bit misleading as it did not fully capture the 'location in which we would stay'. The location within the house was in the basement, and although they had taken time to make it comfortable, it did not have a kitchen, it did not have 2 bathrooms (the second was on the main level in the owner space, there was only one entrance which was through the owners house above (no entry/exit on the lower level), and although it described a patio, again you would have to enter through their 'house' with no way to enter through the outside. If you are looking for something like this, I would recommend it, but if you have a family and need a kitchen or other accommodations, you might consider elsewhere.

Thank you for your comments. The patio you described that you couldn’t get to except through our home is not correct. It is on the back of the house which is accessable on the outside of the home.
As to your concerns of no exit in the basement you are correct however, the large window in the living room area is a fire escape window large enough for an escape were there ever a need.
Your comments about it not having a full kitchen and it being in the basement is addressed in “Property description”, “Amenities” and “Room Space”.
I will be making a video so guests will understand exactly where they are staying so there are no other misunderstandings.
We appologize if it was misleading however, I feel that if everything is read about the property and pictures are looked at that it should be very clear as to what to expect.
We hope you had an enjoyable stay anyway.

Publié le 10 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayDid not stay left after viewing property. Felt very mislead and apparently others have felt this way before. Lost our money, no refunds. Be aware that This IS NOT a private space, you do not have a private entrance or patio. You are in the basement of the host with no outside views of the mountains. You cant even see outside the windowsNo kitchen, no way to come and go except through the couples living quarters. The patio, and washer and dryer are shared with the host. One private bathroom, the other is shared on the primary floor.

Warm, cozy country retreat
