Very very dirty place. The front desk husband and wife seemed high on drugs. Was horrifying experience without another place to go

I apologize that you were unhappy with your stay. Husband and wife!? You spoke to me and I aam not married. I apologize there was no one in the lobby when you needed to hand someone your key and I may not be able to sit at the desk and watch guests eat but I can assure you that your room was not only clean, but recently renovated as well. The traditional keys are an issue that we continue to make better but I can assure you there were other places to stay here in Eagle Nest, and had you not liked your room then you should have said something upon checking in like your registration card states or even when I spoke with you in the lobby and you told me your room was "great". Your review does not deter the fact that as mentioned in email you destroyed my hotel room during spring break, which means I had to cancel and change reservations for others. Both of the bed frames are completely destroyed and one looks like it was even set on fire. The smell of smoke is horrible for my non smoking guests, towels gone, new window latches broken, missing towels and a mattress set that was shredded. I'm not sure as to your intended result with the review but I can assure you, I am not inviting you back to this hotel, and local law enforcement has also been notified.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was not fancy but nice and clean which is important to us. The owners were awesome and very accommodating. Even though we don't skii, this is the perfect location between Red River and Angel Fire skii areas.

This motel is ready for the demolition crew. Outdated, ugly, and the owners know that it is on its last legs, so no upkeep or renovation. We paid almost $160 per night which would seemingly mean that we would get a very decent room and service. It advertised wifi and breakfast and we really had neither. Wifi did not work at our room and the breakfast consisted of coffee, rice krispies or frosted flakes or pop tarts. The bed had an iron bar that stuck out and almost cut my ankle when I bumped into it. No daily maid service. The only good thing was that it was quiet because hardly anyone else was staying there. Wish I had read the reviews before booking. Go somewhere else.

I apologize, John that your stay was below your expectations while visiting us. The hotel is currently under new management and we have been working hard to ensure our guests leave satisfied. Our hotel is indeed not a modern technological marvel but I believe what it lacks in these areas we make up for in good old fashion customer service. The hospitality has made incredible leaps and strides throughout the years so when guests visit we want to remind them that the customer is always right and your feedback is how our business gets better, whether good or bad.
