Charming Apartment in New Town
Publié le 5 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayCraig and Catherine are wonderful hosts! Apartment is spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. The kitchen provided a small washer/dryer and all necessary appliances. A well stocked bar with an Honesty box was a welcome sight after travel. Great restaurants on Thistle street away from the busy-ness of Royal Mile.

Perfect spot
Publié le 22 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayMy friend and I are traveling together and while we had to share a bed, it was big enough for two of us to spread out. The place was cute and comfy. I couldn't figure out the hot water and the owners responded to me right away. The coffee roaster across the street was so good and the staff super friendly.

Queen's garden puts this place over the top

- The bedroom had an amazing amount of storage - a whole wall of modern closets with drawers.
- The kitchen had everything we needed including some basic staples for cooking
- Having a living room and dining room space was perfect for us.
- Looking out the windows and seeing the afterglow of the sunset at 10:30 pm was mesmerizing.
What put this place over the top is access to the private garden! It is park-like and we only saw one other person using it the whole time we were there.

This flat is a true home away from home. Everything you need (and more!). Communication with owner was prompt and they offered very helpful advice on how to get there as well as restaurant recommendations. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Publié le 2 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayNice property! Bathroom could use some attention. Toilet seat was loose on one side and shower screen was not attached at bottom edge to tub.
The bathroom fan runs only occasionally. The “ bar” is a great idea as is the honesty jar.😊

Publié le 16 oct. 2021 sur HomeAwayRuhige Lage, trotzdem zentral. Mit vielen Bars, Restaurants (Thai: Dusit) und kleinen Geschäften. Gutes Internet, bequeme Betten, sehr sauber. Eine große Wohnung im 2. Stock. Sehr lohnenswert.

Craig and Catherine are great at answering any questions.
The apartment is lovely and clean and very handy to explore all of Edinburgh on foot.
We will be staying again!!
