I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the years, but it has gone downhill badly. There’s clearly been no upkeep or care put into the place. On my recent stay, one of the two rooms was tiny, not properly cleaned, the mattress was in poor condition, and the shower only ran cold. Really disappointing considering how good it used to be.

Nice hotel, small but clean room. No bath just shower which we didn’t mind but only had soap so if staying longer would need to bring own toiletries. Staff are nice & friendly and great customer service. Nice pub down stairs with live music at weekend & TV for sports. Close to public transport (bus & train). Free Wi-Fi.
