If I could give zero stars I would. We arrived after spending hours at a festival and they were canceling reservations on people that had booked through 3rd parties and then trying to get them to book directly for $195 a night. The hotel was under construction and had chairs stacked in front of the breakfast area. The staff was extremely rude! Stay away!!
I booked a room on Expedia at this property. When I arrived, the front desk told me there are no rooms and asked how Expedia could rent a room that does not exist. I left the property and asked for a refund through the Expedia app. The property and Expedia told me there is nothing they can do since I cancelled the room. I did not cancel, the property did and Expedia did not honor their booking. Two weeks have passed with no refund.
When we arrived in our room, there was only one towel, no wash cloths. We had to go down to the front desk to get them. The toilet paper was nearly empty, front desk again. No coffee or creamers or sweeteners in the room coffee bar, went without. No glasses on the sink, went out and bought some. Only one shampoo and conditioner. The towels and wash cloths were stained. The bed was too hard for my bad back. The tub was very slick my wife fell and could not get up, I had to help her. I slept in a chair. No breakfast service. I saw many torn window screens, one window had a beer cardboard box flattened over the torn screen by a customer. Refrigerator was very noisy.
The room smelled musty, but the bed and the bed were comfortable. The shower head and curtain were old and grungy, but the water was hot and the water pressure was decent. Breakfast was just cereals and waffles. The property looks worse on the outside. The woman at the front desk was nice.
Owner is very friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a little less than we've had at other hotels - waffles and cereal - but it was nice enough. If I had the opportunity to stay here again, I'd like to check out the antique store on the other side of their parking lot.
