Ghost Motel

I didn’t have a chance to stay. After having my booking for over a month I found out the morning of our stay that the Motel 6 is closed and the location is no longer affiliated with Motel 6. Enter a scramble to find alternative accommodations through hotels.com customer service, who said they made accommodations at another hotel. Great. Except we arrived at the new hotel only for them to look at us like we had two heads each because they’d been booked out for weeks and had a) no available rooms for that night, and b) no such reservations under my name. Then cue another hour or so of trying to find a place and ended up snagging the last room in a town 30 minutes away. In speaking with hotels.com customer service they have claimed zero responsibility or accountability in this, fully blame Motel 6, and as of right now I have a pending charge by Hotels.com for a room that didn’t exist… even though they said hotels.com doesn’t charge the card, Motel 6 does. Lesson learned on third party vendors, skip the scam and book direct, folks.

The bathtub was caulked very carelessly & looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months. The floor around the air conditioner & toilet were stained plus very dirty. Some water got spilled on the floor by the TV & the towel I wiped it up with was really quite dirty. I did count 12 plug-ins in the room which was the only plus to that room.

It's an older property but the bed was comfortable and it was spotlessly clean.

Grody and Horrid; I would never let my mother or anyone I cared for stay at this particular Motel 6. Long black human hairs stuck to the bathroom wall. Long accumulated crud and spider droppings behind bathroom door. Warped, chipped and stained laminate flooring. Obvious management neglect and incompetent maintenance over many years. No coffeemaker, no microwave, no air conditioning, no shampoo. For the positive column: they do provide WiFi and at those prices, not so crowded, so relatively quiet.

All rooms have air conditioners, if yours was not working, I wish you would have let us know. Only our kitchenettes have in room microwaves and coffee makers; however, there is always fresh coffee in the lobby in the mornings and a community microwave as well. Thank you for your feedback.
