Escape is a quaint French style log chalet with peace and quiet of the country but just a short scenic walk to our cute little village. It has it all.
The open concept is ideal to socialize with family & friends, the kitchen has everything you need to prep large or small meals (we love to cook) while mingling with your group.
The high speed internet with the colour printer/copier makes it ideal for extended work/staycation.
Enjoy an extremely cozy atmosphere while enjoying wine, cocktails or just snuggling by the floor to ceiling fireplace.
The huge yard is ideal for kids and pets to run, play corn hole, bocce ball, croquet.....
Lots of parking,, hi speed internet, all streaming channels....you will feel like home and will not want to leave.
You have the option to grill on a propane or charcoal grill.
The main floor has a powder room, patio doors leading to a wraparound deck with patio furniture.
The top floor has 3 bedrooms; the master has a private entrance into the 4 piece bathroom including jacuzzi tub.

Cabin is lovely. Very clean and although close to downtown it’s not easily walkable. We enjoyed our girls weekend. The bottle of wine and snack were a nice welcoming touch.

Great Ski weekend

Property was great! Short drive to Holiday Valley and downtown. Loved the fireplace! Well stocked kitchen, as well as paper products, linens and towels. Made our ski trip much easier! We would definitely book again if possible.

Gentlemen‘s ski trip

Eight mature males exercising their right for gender specific socialization on a yearly ski trip came to stay at this property weekend. The property the communication of the supplies were all excellent. No problems with check-in. The kitchen is well appointed for even halfway serious gourmet cook with plenty of appliances good knives, good vessels, good pans, etc. the wood-burning fireplace is a definite plus for ambience And we would not hesitate to book this property again

Snowy weekend

What a great place. We stayed for the weekend leading up to a Bills game and a combination of holiday festivities, and snowy weather made this so memorable. The house was magnificent we were greeted with a gift box it had all the amenities needed for a postcard style retreat. This may be a silly point, but you can tell a lot about the quality of a rental by the toilet paper provided. You can cut costs or you can make people feel at home. And we felt at home. Thank you.

Horse Show Hospitality

It met our needs for accommodations while attending a horse show at the nearby fairgrounds for four days. The negatives were that the house did not have central air conditioning and the air conditioners that were there were not enough for the 90 degree days, There were no smoke alarms on the main floor or in the finished basement, especially since there is a bedroom down there. There was no fire extinguishers.There was no hand rail down the steps to the basement level. Some landscaping with nice shrubs and flowers would be a great asset too.

Family ski weekend

The chalet was very well appointed, cozy, and clean. Not really within walking distance of the restaurants and shops as I thought it might be, but a quick drive there as well as to skiing. Lovely fireplace, well stocked with wood. Never had to run to the store for anything. Teens enjoyed the basement, TVs, and snacks. I enjoyed listening to cousins catching up with each other, laughing, after hours of skiing, from the living room lounge chairs (that electric one will definitely be our next furniture purchase). Unfortunately we had to leave a day earlier than planned but it was worth every penny to have my children and grandkids all under one (very nice) roof.

Great location and a house with everything one could ask for. I really liked that we were a 15 minute walk from downtown Ellicottville, but our street felt like it was out in the country. Very peaceful!

we celebrated my husband 55th birthday. upon arrival a welcome sign, a bowl of goodies and a bottle of wine greeted us. the place was spotless and very well kept. The furniture was perfect for the chalet. the owner accommodated our need to enter early because we needed to put food in the refrigerator. thank you so much for your generosity. we are already planning another get away.
