Upon check in the clerk could not find my reservation for 5-6 minutes. I had made it through hotel.com. I panicked. Eventuate found it. The bathroom was in dire need of repair. Huge crack in ceiling, hook for dryer pulling out of wall, tub spout pulling out of wall, remnants(adhesive) of soap dish which had fallen off shower wall, unsightly grout in shower, unsightly caulking at bottom of tub, warn spots on tub. Had I realized I could include pictures here, I would have taken them. A number of dogs were in the hotel and at breakfast. I’m just not a dog person so it was not appreciated. Heck out person did not even make eye contact upon departure even tho I waited for printed copy of receipt. Beds were comfortable and food was good at breakfast.

First off..staff was very, very pleasant. Room had the issues. One of the comforters had an unknown brown smudge. Not gonna speculate.. AC was not really blowing well. I checked the air filters. Completely dirty. Air could barely pass. I cleaned and fixed the issue. Shower head fell off and was dirty. Lamp was missing on desk. Very dark in room. Tried (2x) to get water from vending machine with CC. Transaction completed with no water bottle being dispensed. Front desk staff took care of me.

Stopover on the way South

We needed a place to stop en route from NJ to South Carolina. Hampton Inn has always been a reliable brand and this hotel did not disappoint. As usual, the shower was a water waster but otherwise the room was fine. A few cracks in the bathroom tiling, no big deal
