The property is old and worn. The first floor was being painted so hopefully the property is being updated. The front of the AC was broken, as if someone had fallen on it. The lamp shade was torn, the towels were rough, one coverlet was torn and mended.
The property was nice and private...off the main highway. The pool was closed...too bad. I hope it will be upgraded because it was once the best motel in Espanola. The staff was wonderful, cheerful and helpful. It was very clean which is most important. We'd stay there again with limited expectations.

the thinnest walls of a hotel I've ever stayed in, you could hear everything in the rooms next door, the hallways, the laundry room, the front door scraping open, everything. All night long.
Do not recommend.
