The Space:

Blue Iris Inn will soon become your favorite getaway. Inspired by the blooms grown on the home owner's personal flower farm, this vacation home is decorated with floral photography and quaint country touches. Situated at the North East end of Twinkle Lane, the location is tucked away from the traffic of town, but still a quick sidewalk away from all the action.





A fenced yard connects the front porch and patio areas for your own private courtyard with a dining table and additional seating. Inside, the efficient floor-plan makes this home the perfect size for one or two families to enjoy together. Downstairs you'll find the open kitchen and living room, a large bedroom with French doors that open to the private courtyard, and a full bathroom with shower/tub combo with a washer and dryer. Upstairs opens to a large landing area, furnished with bunk beds and a daybed with trundle. The kids can pile in to watch movies and tell stories after a fun day outside.





Also on the second level is a private bedroom with a queen bed and a shared full bathroom with another shower/tub combo. The kitchen is stocked with dishes to make meal-time simple. In walking distance, you'll be 2 minutes to Boardwalk Pool, Mama Tigs Pizza, Pop-Up Shops and the Swim Beach. Reserved and covered parking for one vehicle is included.

I cannot recommend the property at 35C Broadway. The Blue Iris has not been well maintained at all. There were pool toys scattered about in the shrubs. The shrubs were overgrown and in need of weeding. Some of the outside furniture was in such bad shape they were unusable. The interior is dated and the kitchen and bathrooms are insufficiently stocked. No typical kitchen utensils like spatulas or hot pads. The downstairs bathrooms shower curtain was very moldy. The complementary travel size shower gel had been opened and used. I would recommend the owner of the property hire an interior designer and decorator and a grounds keeper. Although they say the road is going to be fixed, it was horrible.

Great community and great location. We had trouble finding the house. We didn’t have cell service there with AT&T. We were finally able to get the number to call and they helped us find the house. We took advantage of everything Carlton Landing. Yoga, 3 pools, Aqua Park, coffee every morning, shopping, volleyball, and Mama Tig’s pizza. Bring your own ping pong balls. We would love to go back!
