Perfect spot to see the northern lights!
Publié le 14 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayI can't say enough good things about Jade & Mark's place! It was the perfect size space for my 15 y/o daughter and I. The bed was comfy and we were plenty warm when it was single digits outside. We even named the moose Steven lol :) We were close enough to Fairbanks to go there for lunch, but far enough away to watch the auroras dancing in the sky, so the location is perfect. Mark even came to make sure we saw the lights the last night we were there!
They were very accommodating when our travel plans changed and allowed us to stay an extra night (and we felt terrible when we overslept and had to rush to make sure they had time to clean before their next guests arrived!)
Overall, if you're looking for a cozy spot to stay that's just out of the city, but still close to drive in for food, and has a giant window to watch the northern lights so you don't have to sit outside and freeze, then this is the place to be!!

Great launching and viewing locale

Hosts were kind enough to notify us very late one night when lights were active, since we hadn't seen them yet. Easy to explore greater Fairbanks in all directions - and we did! Warm floors for cold nights, super comfortable bed, spacious and complete accommodations. Thanks Jade and Mark for everything!

This was a beautiful place to stay - spacious, well situated, clean and affordable. The taxidermy animal heads gave the space a great local flavor and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely try to book this place again if I get a chance to come back to the Fairbanks area. Thanks for a great stay!
